  1. I see what ya'll doing, trying to hide the fact that you caught a double digit Mexican slaunch of a largemouth on the next cast
  2. Spend 20 more bucks and get the Lews Tourney MB. You won't regret it. Or find the older version Tourney MG on a used site, it's the version I have and it rocks.
  3. I don't see KVD switching anytime soon. He's done a lot for his sponsors and I'm sure they pay a pretty penny to keep him happy. And besides, with all the things that he's personally designed and put his name and colors on, it would be hilarious if he stopped recommending them.
  4. Nice work dude! That's a stud!
  5. Looks like they found the body now. Such an awful tragedy.
  6. Ebay has some good prices on tungsten as well if you look hard enough.
  7. Those of you who watch him know who I'm talking about, lol, there's this youtuber who has been taking guys out on Gary Yamamoto's ranch ponds, seems like every trip they break two or three rods It's like a curse.
  8. 1/4 for t rigs, and either that or 3/8s for jigs.
  9. They have one of those broilers with lamb on it at my favorite Greek place, shave it off right into your gyro
  10. Don't know if it was mentioned already but Fred roumbanis is releasing the Boom Boom Swimbait, looks like a pretty dope swimmer.
  11. Thanks for the laugh And nice work my friend!! Them jigs always get it done!
  12. Attaboy Hootie!
  13. That sucks bro. Best of luck in getting it looked at and taken care of. I'm kinda glad to be 15 and not worrying about these things but I know my time is coming ?
  14. For those of you looking for a good hook, the Gamakatsu Split Shot/Drop Shot hook is a fantastic wacky rig hook.
  15. *starts a Baccarac piggy bank*
  16. I see topics like this come up a lot around the internet, they're kinda funny to me. Sure, a lot of ponds wouldn't set up correctly for a 10xd or the like, but with the majority of small ponds, the same lures you would catch bass on in a large lake work for them. You don't need special baits for small ponds. Just throw stuff that you're confident in and that you know the bass will eat.
  17. It ain't the rod that makes the angler! I learned to fish on $50 rods, and still use two of them to this day, although I'm working on replacing them.
  18. If you don't want to get into swimbaiting, then I would recommend the larger size Keitech Fat Impacts, or another 6-7 inch soft plastic swimbait that you can rig on a screwlock or jighead. However, if I had a honey hole like that, with 10 pounders in it, I would buy a swimbait setup and spend all day throwing huds and glide baits. Check out on TW, the Dobyn's Fury rods, they have a nice swimbait for for $120, that would be your best bet. Good luck!
  19. Buzzbait all night long!
  20. This topic has been beat to death many times, but here's my take on it. 90% of the time, the fish will hit any senko bait, but 10% of the time, there's just something about the GYBC baits that they love. I own many brands of them and fish them all, but sometimes they only want the actual Senko. It's a fine balance and hard to figure out. For now, you definitely can't go wrong with Yum Dingers, they work very well. BPS Stik-Os also work pretty well.
  21. For those who would be benefited by such a video, I thought this was an excellent teaching clip.
  22. It's been interesting to me to watch the evolution and growth of fishing channels on YouTube in the last few years, they've exploded and a lot has changed. Sponsorships have become much more prevalent, MTB and LTB in particular have claimed every prominent YouTuber. The connectivity and friendships between Youtubers has grown, they constantly travel to fish with each other. The game has become less of a "let's upload my fishing trips for a couple bucks on youtube" to a way of making a living. Do I blame the guys for choosing to fish for a living? No. Do I wish they would be a little less quiet about their sponsors? Yes. Do I still watch them? Absolutely. i love Youtube and the fishing community is no different. I don't blame some of you guys for your opinions. I do think that a large audience of these guys are younger people such as myself, and I know it's different for us than it is for you.
  23. Hootie I'm 15, I have no idea what the heck you're talking about
  24. That's the vengeance, not the veritas. Still a good deal though.
