  1. I just got my first pack of tungsten and I'm afraid I'm never going back to lead, expensive though they be.
  2. My friends and I agree that the fish counts as a catch if we get it to touch the bank. Or clearly have it out of the water.
  3. Google got me here, and the kindness of you guys dealing with an immature 13 year old with a passion for fishing kept me here. I love this place and have learned do much through it.
  4. Oh I ain't worried about the goose, I'd shoot em if I was allowed to lol.
  5. Forgot to mention, I was in Tennessee ? jk jk
  6. Never seen this before! So I was fishing a finesse worm in Morning Dawn color on a dropshot, and I got a pretty hard bite that didn't result in a hookup, which was almost certainly a bluegill. The bait was torn off, so I put on different colored worm and kept fishing. Three or four geese were swimming my way, alternating between diving down and looking for food and bobbing back to the surface. About 5 minutes after losing the worm, I see a goose surface from the area where I had gotten the bite, and my worm is sticking out of it's mouth! I could clearly see the distinct color. After about three or four tries, he swallowed the dang thing and went his way. Lol, nothing particularly special but it was funny to me so I thought I'd share.
  7. I love the RES and throw it almost every time I'm on the water. Great bait.
  8. I'm with AJay here, I would rather use softer plastics if they work better for me. If a more durable bait won't catch fish as well for me, there's no point in it lasting longer per fish.
  9. When I created my username, all stick baits were the same to me, aka senkos.
  10. Here's a picture of a prototype of the poppin perch: http://www.flwfishing.com/news/2015-04-20-top-10-baits-from-grand-lake
  11. I've gotten multiple bags of them and they were great. Highly recommended.
  12. Dang! I'd be tying on a huge worm, jig, or swimbait and be fishing it the whole time. Lots of potential for you to get your new pb in FL.
  13. Check out this nifty little lure idea: http://www.fieldandstream.com/articles/fishing/2014/07/package-deal-the-story-behind-one-readers-secret-bass-bait?src=SOC&dom=fb
  14. Rat'L'Trap is releasing a new topwater bait called the Stutter Step (I believe I have that correctly). It can be used as a topwater or a wakebait, and can do a complete 180 turn in the water.
  15. Aren't you sponsored by Dobyn's?
  16. Can't beat a trick worm.
  17. If you're looking to catch fish put you on a Ned Rig!
  18. Good work Justin
  19. It's really cool to me personally watching KVD rebound and up his game. My interest in fishing started at just about the time when Mr. Vandam was hitting his slump and not making the classic, so it's awesome to watch the legend himself win two elite events this year. Simply phenomenal.
  20. Nice! Love me a sexy looking jeep or truck. One day I'll own one...
  21. Be incredibly funny or helpful. Or both. Just be yourself (within forum rules) and you'll gain a standing with everybody. It doesn't take much.
  22. Great game, congrats to Cleveland for pulling it off.
  23. You are you going for tonight? I'm a huge Steph Curry and Golden State Fan, definitely crossing my fingers for them to pull off the win.
