  1. Nice work brotha, fishing has been on the back burner right now as I focus on fitness and keep up work and summer school, but I should be getting my license this December and can't wait for a little more freedom myself.
  2. Dozens of bass; but the lake was the type that was overrun with pounders. The only picture worthy one came unhooked as I swung her on the bank and flopped back in the water. I flopped with her
  3. Hanging Rock State Park
  4. I had an awesome last week chilling out in the mountains of North Carolina. I spent the whole week hiking, running, exploring mountains and caves, swimming, and fishing. My kind of week. I enjoyed everything, but not mowing grass for a week was probably my favorite part. It's always nice to just unwind and do nothing. Spending time with my older brother, who left for college about a year ago, was also a highlight. Ain't nothing like spending a week in the middle of nature!
  5. I'm not a gamer and never will be. I'd rather play PG than most other games, but heck I'd rather go for a run or lift some weights. Just me, I'm weird.
  6. I'm very selective in the ones I watch, but I do enjoy watching vlogs. When I say vlogs, I mean not the fishing/vlogs but the actual vlogs. The only ones I really care about are Roman Atwood's vlogs, they never cease to inspire me and make me laugh. What the fishing people have done is to realize that there's a huge audience of people who do enjoy vlogs, and production-style videos with less pure fishing content. They've crossed the border between straight fishing content and a different kind of entertainment. While I remain a large fan of the Youtube fishing community, I do wish they would cut back on the traveling, just film solo videos with less vlogging and more fishing. But I ain't blaming someone for making a living.
  7. seriously though you're probably gonna have to talk to people you don't know in your career or life. Customer service people are paid to be easy to talk to. It's a good skill to learn.
  8. I see a career for you in telemarketing.
  9. Rage Toad xD
  10. I see, that's cool!
  11. Hey man, you know an iphone does all of this too
  12. No idea whatsoever lol.
  13. This thread goes to show that we all have different opinions, experiences, and loyalties. Try a rod that seems cool to you; they're all pretty good in the $100 range.
  14. I've been watching some of the product videos, and the Bass Mafia stuff really caught my eye. I'm a sucker for organization and these things look freaking awesome.
  15. Even a young gun has heard of that first one. I picked it up at a used bookstore and have read it multiple times. Great book! There's a really good article in it from either Rick Clunn or Roland Martin about 10 mistakes that weekend anglers make. Great read.
  16. Haven't fished them personally, but ya'll should check out the double Whopper Plopper buzzbaits. Pretty dope
  17. To me, iCast really isn't that that exciting. It's a very important part of the fishing industry, and it brings a lot of exposure and everything. But an icast best of show really doesn't mean much to me. The things I listed caught my eye in one way, shape, or form, but I don't really see anything that mind blowing. I'm pretty dang sure the Savage Rat or Duck will get the best of show this year, the duck being the most different thing I see being offered so far. I like the new Ned Rig stuff, always fun to experiment. I've been looking forward to the Strike King Popping Perch for at least a year since I first read about it. The Yamamato Zako swimbait looks pretty cool for a trailer. Considering how good of a company they are and the value of the spinning version, the Pfleuger President baitcast reel just might prove to be the best $80 reel on the market.
  18. I've already maintained the habit in my (admittedly short) life of finding the companies that take care of you and treat you as a valued customer, and giving them my business. Ain't nobody got time for people who don't appreciate the ones who keep them in business.
  19. Start em young!
  20. Really wish I could buy the past seasons of MLF, I don't have it on TV and love the show. Only watched a couple episodes on YouTube, all I could find.
  21. They're coming out with a new one specifically designed to hold a ton of deep diving crankbaits, it looks pretty sick.
  22. Time to update that pb info! Nice job bro
  23. I think it's time to pull out that beaver or tube, Hootie!
  24. Rage Craw, Pit Bosses, and Chigger Craws get thrown from me a lot.
