  1. Nice fish! Spinnerbaits are awesome.
  2. I'd go for it, that's a great price. Plano boxes are invaluable for storage.
  3. Pinnacle products?
  4. That is a unique cork look. I like it.
  5. If I could replaced my backpack, it would be with either the Abu Garcia Veritas backpack or the Tackle Warehouse backpack. I can't stand tackle boxes, backpacks are so much easier for moving around.
  6. Yum Dinger in Green Pumpkin w/ a chartreuse tail.
  7. finesse worms, jigs, and jerbaits. Target deeper water, and especially the cover around it.
  8. Ya'll realize that some of those packages contain more tackle than I own?? This is almost as good as the "show off your stuff" thread!
  9. I have found a combo in some bushes, but decided not to take it because it was a small pond, and I'm guessing someone stored their stuff their (stupid idea). I've also caught a broken fishing rod with no reel attached. Maybe one of these days I'll score with a G. Loomis NRX and a Shimano Cronarch from the bottom of the pond. (new condition, of course.)
  10. You can use that as an excuse for buying more lures. ("Honey, I'm going to get some ornaments.....")
  11. Bait that's caught the most for me: 4 inch finesse worm (KILLER on ponds) Favorite bait: Hula Popper.
  12. That is amazing. If you don't have a healthy heart, don't go topwater fishing.
  13. Had an awesome day! We caught 60 total keepers, and about 150 fish overall. Surprisingly, we actually didn't catch that many species. We ended up with crappies, largies, perch, and catfish. My biggest was 13 inches. Had a blast.
  14. A perfect morning, with an explosive topwater bite, twenty+ bass, beautiful sunrise, and a nice pond.
  15. Cotton Cordell Super Spots. I don't like BPS and a lot of other cheaper lures, but those work, and I can't complain with that.
  16. I'm trying to unhook a little bluegill. Random lady walks by. ("Is that a bass?") people
  17. A surprising number of the pros use the Cronarch. It is an absolute workhorse. I know someone who has 32 of them (!). From all I've heard of them, I was tempted to get one, but I ended up with something a little more in my budget. Go for it, man!
  18. That's a great accomplishment. I've owned my first for about a month now, and am loving it. My transition was very smooth. Don't believe everything they tell you about backlashes, they're not half as bad as people make out. (DON"T try to pick out the backlash-google how to get out a backlash).
  19. Is that a villain on the far left? That is a sick looking rod.
  20. I typically keep them on. I use them for action, not scent, so I don't really care if they lose scent.
  21. lol this thread's days are over
  22. Those are sweet! I like the dark blue color best.
  23. One of my ponds is a neighborhood one that gets an amazing amount of pressure for such a small pond. Everything from little kids with spiderman combos to diehard anglers like me and some of my friends. Those fish won't even look at topwater. They've seen SO many rattling, vibrating, chugging, walking, and wiggling baits that soft plastics are the way to go. The only time I'd throw topwater would be after dark.
  24. Those bass are on steroids!
