  1. The SK bitsy flip is a decent jig for like $2.50. I'd not recommend throwing in open water, though. Fish cover with it, that's what it's designed for. Just my two cents.
  2. Try new techniques. Big one for me this year.
  3. Red Cotton Cordell Super Spot. Cast it one day and it just flew off my line into the water. My knot tying abilities have improved since .
  4. Nice combo.
  5. Pitch black, raining cats and dogs, lightening all around me, and waiting for my ride home. Not fun.
  6. My brother is a dedicated jerkbait addict, and he fishes them all the time from the bank. He also likes floating minnow-style topwaters as a jerkbait/topwater combination. Like bluebasser said, the bass tend to hit them right at the bank, I've noticed.
  7. I'm with C + G, I don't have enough that I have a major organization system.
  8. I'd say if you can afford the MG, go for it. I have one and it's a great reel.
  9. Focusing on school helps, it's kinda hard to concentrate on Alegbra during the spawn .
  10. I'd say when you no longer fish but just look at your tackle, that's a problem.
  11. The handle is almost identical to my Lew's. IDK, I guess I'm the only one who thinks so
  12. So I caught this HUGE bass in a pond and I think it's the new world record (pictured in my profile). Okay, you say, it's a dink, but what you don't know is that I'm 7'6 and I have fists the size of basketballs, so in relation to my size, what do you think this bass weighs? Lol great post A-Jay. I think we needed it.
  13. Just noticed that the handle on the Daiwa Aird looks familiar.............http://daiwa.com/reel/detail.aspx?id=738
  14. Mind telling me where you caught her?
  15. That sounds intriguing. Thanks for sharing.
  16. You can do it with multiple companies, such as Megabass, Strike King, Manns, Lucky Craft, Bomber, and Rapala, just to name some.
  17. Yozuri baits are, without a doubt, proven eyecatchers, and fishcatchers as well.
  18. That's hilarious.
  19. Shimano Cronarch or Lews Tournament MG are both solid reels.
  20. I was talking less about remembering them than about the fact that bassers back in "the early days" didn't know anything higher than a 6:4:1.
  21. If I'm really really desperate, I'll pull out an inline spinner, which can catch you some bream as well as bass. 4-inch finesse worm has been really good to me as well.
  22. That's a crazy bag of spots!
  23. My brother is a jerkbait addict, I just can't seem to work up a whole lot of admiration for them.
