Right now I'm using Yum Craws, because their baits are always in a bargain big at Walmart. Their Craw Papi, Craw Bug, and the Money Craw are what I'll be using this coming season. Most guys on here will steer you toward a Rage Craw, though.
Harris is probably your best bet. Lots of big bass swim in there. Also, Falls will be on fire starting around the 2nd/3rd week of March. It takes 30 pounds to win a tourney during that time.
I hate when that happens. I remember the first "big' one that got away. I didn't fight it correctly and he threw my trap. He wasn't that big, probably 2 1/2, but it broke my heart!
I don't know, they're made by some random dude who has this company called "Megastink" or something like that. Weird name but I guess he makes good stuff lol.
Never owned any, but you guys would know: are two of these buzzbaits Cavitrons from Megastrike? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lot-of-5-Buzzbaits-different-makers-Bass-lures-/191492534454?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2c95d830b6
My problem is fishing when I shouldn't be out. Like in the middle of a lightening storm, or on a 100 degree day with no water, or when it's very cold. I love fishing so much I tend to shrug it off, but especially in heat I get dehydrated really easily and have to watch out.
I am who I am, no trying to hide that for me: A 14-year-old who's only fished seriously for a year. I love to share the knowledge I have learned, but there's a ton I still don't know.
They also have the Villain on sale for 130: http://www.academy.com/shop/pdp/abu-garcia-villain-freshwater-casting-rod/pid-772203?color=Grey&N=101+10001&Ntt=abu+garcia+villain&Ntk=All
Academy has select colors of the Yum Craw Papi, Wooly Bug, and Dinger on sale for 1.98. The Dingers are in a 12 pack, which is about 16 cents per bait!
