  1. Is this what you're talking about? https://www.walmart.com/ip/Magic-Bait-Strawberry-Fish-Dough-Bait/49933629 I have used both the strawberry and mulberry with pretty good results on smaller lakes and ponds. Haven't ever caught a carp on it, but have caught some eater sized channels.
  2. Thank you, with a long winter coming up, I'm expecting to be putting a lot of hours in to prepare for the spring.
  3. I plan on starting a small business this winter producing jigs, plastics, and some spinnerbaits. I have a few questions about some potential legal issues. First is for jigs; I plan on making 1/4 oz and below for crappie as well as 1/2 oz for some bass, so if I use eagle claw hooks and VMC hooks, am I allowed to sell them in my jigs, or is that not allowed? Also if I use a mold for plastics from Jann's, is it okay to sell those baits also? I should probably contact the companies to make sure, but any help on this subject would be appreciated. If there is already a thread with this topic, the link would be a very good answer also. Thank you!
  4. i rarely use snaps, but on the few days that i do, i use them on everything except texas rigged plastics with a weight and jigs. but i like to retie after every catch, snap or not
  5. A couple years ago I caught my PB for the time, and when I lipped it, I grabbed the entire crankbait on accident... Two of the barbs went all the way in, but I wanted to get a picture right away. Smile through the pain
  6. I've been looking at it for a short while... What size are you using, the #3 or the #6? I think the 3 is a good size, but at that price, I wouldn't want to be throwing it around the same places that I would throw a regular $2 inline spinner.
  7. I'd have to agree with this, the fish might not be the biggest or the best, but after fishing at one place for long enough, it doesn't seem right to fish anywhere else.
  8. I don't have a job, but I've skipped school to go fishing after lunch. I also planned my college classes around the times that I prefer to go fishing.
  9. When i got my first baitcaster, i practiced out in the yard for about a good month before i wanted to risk embarrassment on the water, and did the same thing again when i got a fly rod this summer.
  10. I like the Yamamoto Senko texas rigged, but prefer the Yum Dinger wacky rigging. I feel like wacky is more likely to tear the worm.
  11. Honestly, I've kissed several bass in the last few years, and in my experience as long as you don't use tongue, it isn't too unpleasant
