  1. We should do beer and food, then the expo, then the weigh in! Then fishing afterwards.
  2. Depends on where you want to meet. I'm planning on fishing Cherokee. Douglas, Norris, and Loudon, but in no particular order. I leave next Friday and with a 3 day drive I should be fishing by Monday. I also plan to fish the little pigeon and Abrahms Creek in the park the week after the classic. My schedule is flexible. Just let me know when works for you!
  3. Nine pipes is a great start, adjacent to it is Pablo and Kickinghorse which are also both incredible. Flathead lake's southern end is packed with Smallmouth. Further north are tons of good lakes including Blanchard, Echo, Abbott, the Flathead river sloughs. The Thompson chain northwest of Whitefish.
  4. I'm all in and will happily supply boat gas if warranted. This trip is mostly about me checking out East TN as a possible place to move so I will be exploring and fishing down there for two weeks starting March 12th and will stay through the classic.
  5. My best advice is to figure out what the seasonal pattern is and follow the females. Once you notice the amount of larger spawning fish declining in numbers, start moving out onto the primary and secondary points to find where they are setting up for post spawn. You can still do this from shore by cast and dragging something along the bottom to the break lines and prominent weed edges in deeper water. A portable fish finder would probably help you with this a lot as well.
  6. The fact that they keep mentioning bicycles would be the first and only red flag needed to say NO. So, why should you buy from us? 1. Price is very competitive, because we directly cooperate with bicycle distributors from all over the world. 2. Fast delivery only 6 - 8 Business days to worldwide. 3. give 100% money back guarantee if you are not satisfied. 4. give 10% discount for all fishing and equipment. 5. all fishing equipment have official warranty 1-5 years depending on the brands."
  7. I've started to notice how many familiar faces I'm recognizing from 3+ years of FLW Fantasy Fishing. Here's the two rosters I'm mulling over A: Drew Benton or Matt Arey B: Jeff (gussy) Gustafson or Seth Feider C: Brandon Lester or Chris Johnston D. Kyle Monti or Chad Morgenthaler E: Clark Wendlandt or Caleb Sumrall

  9. It shouldn't be too bad. I like have elite series events closer together. Especially considering FLW did away with their Fantasy Fishing.
  10. Thanks for the feedback. Corrected! I'll have another one finished today.
  11. I made this while bored at work and thought it might be a fun activity for bass clubs/youth clubs and meetings. https://jeopardylabs.com/play/so-you-think-you-can-bass Let me know what you think!
  12. B.A.S.S. Claims today might be the day!
  13. I'll definitely be in again. I thought for a while I had a decent chance to win it all in the previous season. Ended up finishing top 300 overall after a bad last 2 events. Anyone here win any of the groups?
  14. You must not follow the Steelhead scene much. Most of those guys fish 9+ foot rods designed to cast clear across the Clearwater River. I have helped my friend who is a rod builder test his rods and we've exceeded 100 yards casting a 2 ounce weight in the schoolyard behind his place. Euro carp fisherman are also known for casting weights/baits 150-200 yards.
  15. I've also been told by friends/associates that they have wood decks, which has contributed to lots of quality issues. If they've moved away from that, I wouldn't have a problem with a tracker as a good starter boat for the price. Hopefully they've solved the rod locker length conundrum as well.
  16. I think Aaron is too snake bitten with classics, and the fact that they have moved them to Spring likely decreases his chances, as it opens up the fishing opportunities for less finessy fisherman. This is coming from a huge fan of his. He's easily one of my favorite pros.
  17. In the winter I fish with my hunting gloves, I don't mind my finger tips getting frozen as the rest of my hands stay nice and warm. The mitten pop-tops have magnets that hold them open so they don't get in the way while casting/reeling.
  18. Cabela's Fisherman Series Go-To Diamond Stick. These things are a dynamite drop shot and shakey-head worm! I think BPS has a pretty similar bait to this, but I have yet to try it.
  19. I get this when I search for it.
  20. I'm looking to get some better raingear once the holiday sales kick in, and I'm super prone to Huk as I already own several jackets, shirts, and gaiters, and absolutely love them. I noticed on their website that I cannot find any of their rain gear listed there. Does anyone know if they discontinued that line? Or perhaps are just in between generations? I still see some of it on TW, but not the heavy duty Kryptek stuff they used to sell.
  21. Your state fisheries website might have a lake/pond section that includes topos. I found mine this year and it had topo maps of surprisingly small bodies of water. For example
  22. We have a warm springs that stays around a comfy 60 degrees all year around and happens to have a small school of resident bass in it. We'll go there when even the rivers are full of ice chunks and unfishable to get our fix.
  23. "Love Affair" I caught more fish on top water this year, than I have the last 2-3 years combined. I now have a love affair with the Whopper Plopper.
  24. I used to (might still) have a Pinnacle Deadbolt that was given to me by my dad. For a cheap reel, that thing had a butter smooth drag and casted baits a country mile. I've heard that their higher end reels were garbage towards the end.
  25. Decided not to fish a tournament this year, but fished from the bank during our summer team tourney. Caught what would have been a 21 pound bag with a chatterbait in 2 hours. It would have been the 2nd heaviest bag of the entire tournament. Couldn't manage a fish over 5 this year or last year, but I had a couple that were knocking on that door.
