I didn't take into account the limberness of the ice rods. I just wanted to add more to my hobby of fishing by doing something more rewarding. I think the feeling that you would get from building one and using it would be way better then just a store bought one. And even more so if your able to sell them thanks for all the advice
I think I am going to start. And I also think I'm going to start with ice fishing rods. As the kit I found is 160 and comes with everything for 3 complete rods.
I'm thinking about trying to build my own first custom rod. Is there any tips and tricks anyone can give me. A place to buy kits and supplies I already know of mud hole just not sure if there is any better out there or not. Thanks in advance for the help
I am looking to add a good all around spinning rod and a good all around crank bait and jerk bait rod. What would be some good options. Between 100 to 150 each would be best for me.

I'm sure this has been asked here a lot. but I'm New here and newer to fishing so I thought I'd ask for myself. I am looking for a frogging specific set up I am figuring around 300-350 for that I was personally thinking of going with a duckett rod Nd reel. as for an around set up i don't l have a clue. I'm looking to spend 150 to 200 for that. and you can also suggest line type and weight for the all around
I had a problem with a sexy frog having paint peeling off and they sent me 3 new and a hat. and the ones I got seemed softer in the body then the original I sent them
