  2. good question. When I was a kid, we would walk and fish miles of the s. fl canals. There would be many days without a single bite, let alone even see a fish.
  3. I use both. Usually put a small creature on the megastrike in 20'+ water. They have some super sharp hooks, stand up good. I like the ball type with worms, and shallower water.
  4. shrimp on a cork works great. You will need both fresh/saltwater license.
  5. Have not been to the creek in awhile. Turned out to be a beautiful day here. Hit it up around 11:30 a few small nibbles, probably brim on berkley power bait black worm. Tried strike king grub and junebug lizard... no takers today.
  6. mirrolures....just grab a handful of colors. d.o.a. plastic shrimp, matrix shad paddletails, grab some jigheads while you are at it. every guy fishing inshore should have a spook or two, or he's not for real.
  7. how many of us will be hitting f5 continuously, like every year? lol Always good deals on BF@TW
  8. Looks like a fun year! my recap.... missed most of the spring spawn... missed all of the fall shad shenanigans. Not over yet, though.
  9. it ain't right man, just ain't right.
  10. old news...
  11. sorry, dont read comics. And him not supposed to be a tough guy is irrelevant to my post. Like many other things.
  12. anyone else feel like the guy who plays Negan just does not come across as intimidating? He's not scary or creepy at all. Aside from the violence, which they could have had anyone do, he just does not fit in like a tough guy at all. Not compelling. I did like him in"magic city", but he was still soft in that show.
  13. nice.... it's getting chilly up here in coal country...:)
  14. Good luck with depth map. The lake has been overgrown for many years. They did drop several truckloads of lime in a couple of years ago. Did not help much. I have been there many times in the 20 years I have lived in Pensacola, never caught a fish. Every once in awhile, I would go up there, bored on the weekend. Bring my tackle box, and cast for hours, threw everything. Even brought my jon boat a couple of times. Nothing. They say the lake is managed, but that word is relative to anything other than fish managed. Good luck. *** heading north on 29, you are better off fishing Pine Barren creek. Creek bassin'
  15. In case anyone ever wondered. When I fish the creek, I use my medium/fast 7' st. croix mojo bass spinning rod, with a penn battle 2500. 15# powerprobraid with 10# mccoys copolymer leader.
  16. loved that place when I was a kid.
  17. I use straight shank with roboworms and BIG worms. pretty much use ewg hooks for everything else. On occasion, I will try to use up some older offset/straight hooks, just to get rid of them.
  18. I have had some success with them. I usually t-rig them. Drag/pull them along the bottom close/through some brush, downed tree limbs. I have used the regular and the smaller ones. Have had better luck with other baits, but won't throw them out. I give them a shot every now and then.
  19. I went with the costa's years ago. My last couple pairs are wileyx, more affordable for me. Fit great, get the lenses anyway I want. And the costa rx warranty is NON existant.
  20. great baits, especially when the bass are chasing shad...:)
  21. Looks like I am right, again. Condescending, not even a little. Embellishing, a little...frankie lover, a lot. Hungry? I'll get the crow.
  22. Frankie who? ....UFC200
  23. Need help finding fishing locations in Miami is like needing help to find sand in the desert...sorry, had to say it.
