  1. If you have to purchase from DSG, pick up some Trilene 100% flouro in 15lb test.
  2. I have to agree they do feel awesome!
  3. St Croix Avid 7' MHM. That rod is the real deal for just about any type of cranking, square bills, lipless, shallow to medium. Heck I have even thrown 5xds on it!
  4. My vote is for the ci4+. I have a 2500 size one and it's unbelievable.
  5. Zoom super chunk
  6. Check out Cole tackle. Awesome rod protectors at a reasonable price, plus you can customize the color and lengths.
  7. For me it would have to be St Croix avid X. Awesome rods and slightly under $250!
  8. A zoom superfluke had been one of my most productive baits this year. I have much more confidence in it now. Won't leave home without it!
  9. No. The two I held was the 6'8 MXF casting and 7' MF casting. What sparked my interest is that I already own a 6'8 MXF in an Avid X and the Mojo was oddly very similar feel.
  10. Has anyone used the new St Croix Mojo Rods with the upgraded SCIII opposed to the previous SCII? I would really like to hear a review. Just from holding them in store they look and feel good. Lighter than the previous model. Interested in others thoughts.
  11. I use 4/0 offset round bends with great success, with zoom super flukes or caffeine shads
  12. I use shimano E series reels for all my flipping an pitching techniques. Couldn't be happier for the price point.
  13. X2 I have the same rod and it's awesome, especially for the price now on TW. That's a steal!
  14. Thy work great for smallmouth.
  15. Just check the website and doesn't show anything at a reduced price? Is it still going on till midnight?
  16. Carbon steel for me! 7'3 H ... Needed a new frog rod and i hear it works nicely for that, just have to wait and see
  17. Shimano caius is a great budget reel for the price! I have an extra I would let go of u are interested.
  18. Not yet, got it though the a warranty flame at the beginning of the the month but haven't got a chance to get out. I will be fishing erie Friday and sat so I will put that new drop shot rod to the test!
  19. Hard work pays off. Finally have upgraded my arsenal within my budget!!! not too shabby if I say so myself for a 23 year old...
  20. Pick up a lightly used st croix avid mhm or kistler magnesium/klx mhm
  21. I prefer mono for all my treble hooked baits, especially poppers. I usually throw 12-15 lb pending on the cover, considering I love throwing them around laydowns prior to pitching into them.
