  1. Rippin, what rod are you gonna mount that bad boy on?
  2. The 764 is much different in my opinion than the 734. Although specs are similar, it fishes much heavier/stiffer than the 734. I would not recommend it for spinners or chatters. My recommendation would go towards the 734c fh like many have suggested. Great all purpose rod.
  3. I was cleaning some stuff up in the tackle room and respooling, so I thought I should take a picture since it's been a while..
  4. Hitting the lake for a little evening topwater as the sun goes down. Pop Pop
  5. Might be a little hard to find new. But there are a few online retailers which still have a few
  6. My reel of choice for that application is a Shimano core 100mg. Love that frame (100mg, mgfv, chronarch d). Very comfortable in my hands and Casts forever, not to mention super smooth.
  7. Luckily she doesn't have a problem being right next to me as long as she has her combo in hands. They say happy wife, happy life.. good thing all she needs is a chronarch 50e and an avid pearl and she's golden. Looks good and easy to palm. I think I'm in the clear for now.. plus the bait monkey is satisfied temporarily.
  8. New toy! G Loomis Glx 844c MBR. Pairs up quite nicely with the Chronarch D7. Can't wait to get it out on the water!
  9. 15-17lb McCoys Mean Green/Xtra clear Co-Polly for me.
  10. Adam, what two XX rods do you have those sv103's mounted on? Thanks!
  11. My recommendation would be Mccoys Mean or Xtra Clear CoPolly. Awesome line for most applications from topwaters to reaction baits. I have even used it with bottom contact baits with success.
  12. I would save up a little more money and try to get a stradic. I was able to pick up a stradic 2500 FJ from an action site brand new for 125. Awesome reel for not much more money. Definitely worth it in my opinion.
  13. It looks good to me.
  14. I can not comment on stren, but I can on the McCoys. Aside from my straight braid setups, I have switched to McCoys almost exclusively. Doesn't break the bank, while giving you similar results to that of fluorocarbon. Highly reccomended.
  15. Just picked up this excellent condition Dobyns champion extreme 784c. Couldn't pass up the deal.Haven't had a chance to fish it yet but it sure feels amazing. My longest rod to date, and hardly feels like it's 7'8". Balances perfect with my curado 200e7.
  16. I fish 1/4 oz swim jigs 80% of the time. I also fish it on a fast action rod, Dobyns Champion 733c to be exact with 15 lb copolly/flouro. Haven't had any issues. Best rod for this technique I have found to date.
  17. 12-15 lb co-Polly for me. McCoys xtra clear to be exact. Awesome stuff.
  18. 15 lb flouro or copolly for the main line, usually 12 lb copolly for the leader usually. I use McCoys xtra clear specifically.
  19. I use siebert outdoors Arkie jigs. If you need some asap, just about every Walmart or outdoor store will have old school Arkie jigs. That's all you need.
  20. Most of mine is either strike King, that I got on clearance from Walmart for $3-4 a pack or from siebert outdoors. Great prices and an awesome guy to do business with.
  21. McCoys mean green/xtra clear. Have it on probably 85 percent of my rods. Definitely has replaced fluorocarbon in my books.
