  1. Siebert arky's all the way!!!
  2. Zoom super chunks or berkley pitt boss
  3. Gen 1 or 2 sx... Try and find one used
  4. One of the first lures I ever used... Still one of my favorite pond baits when I want to catch just about anything.
  5. shimano sienne and Berkley lightning rod shock
  6. Definitely the 7' M Berkley Lightning Rod Shock. I have one and great for the money..
  7. not to sound like a broken record... but close quarters fishing. spinnerbait and t-rig specially. I use my 6'9" MH almost specically for flukes and senkos
  8. A 6.1 and up should do the job for both. It's not rocket science
  9. Moving baits.. Lighter spinnerbaits, jerkbaits, topwater, and shallow cranks. Congrats!
  10. More than ready for this season to start!!!
  11. I'll second on the inferno, great little Rod for about $30. I have the 6'6 m casting model. I use it as a pond Rod due to it being 2 piece. I use it for all my moving baits, spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and topwater. No probles I have encountered yet.
  12. Seaguar Red Label is great line for the price! best i have found at that price point. Give it a Shot!
  13. Im interested about it too. It says on the box that is manufactured by Sunline, so i have high hopes for it, but hesitant to pull the trigger as well.
  14. When I pitch around docks I downsize personally. I usually use a shorter rod, 6'10 MHXF is my preference, with a 3/8 oz arky style jig. The arky style really helps me skip further and its a great all around jig in my opinion. As for line, I usually stick to 14-17 lb flouro for the majority of the time. I am no expert but this seems to work for me. Hope this helps!
  15. Zoom Super Fluke
  16. brand new - Shimano Caius Used - Shimano Citica E or Abu Revo S
  17. I have two Shimano Sienne's both in the 2500 size. I absolutely love them. Like you said they run about $30 brand new and they are awesome. super smoothe drag for only $30.
  18. Another vote for the RI Skinny Dippers
  19. Shimano Curado I or Chronarch 200e7
  20. x2. My pitching rod is also a 7'2" MH XF (Shimano Crucial). I really like it. soft tip with lots of backbone. I exclusively use 15-20 lb flouro and it works great. If you plan on throwing braid i would step the action down to a fast-modfast.
