  1. I was a narrow minded cork or pass for years. These days s quality Rod will have quality EVA which I've developed a liking for. I also like the Winn grip on my Lews HM85 rod. My next purchase will be another Lews HM85. The Winn grip is super comfortable.
  2. I throw toads June - Dec. I have 3 set ups. 1: Lews Lite HM85 7'2" Grass rod with a Lews Team Lite reel. Smoken good in heavy pads, matts, reeds... 2: Aubu Ike 7'4" 6 power I use in lighter cover. Casting accurately is effortless. I paired it with a Lews Tourney MB. A fantastic reel by the way. Glass.... 3: Team Diawa 6'6" MH for shorter casts around trees, docks, ect... I put a Lews Magnesium on it. I also use my Lews Tourney Pro reels with all three rods. I won't part with those reels. I want one more rod to complete my toad/frog arsenal. A Lews Lite HM85 7' Magnum for bomb casting the super thick stuff. Any of my Lews reels will do the rest. I recommend a Lews HM85 7'2" Grass rod with a Tournament Pro or MB reel. You're looking at 300.00 + - depending on who you buy from. Swanson's offers discounts some times. Check the better sellers on eBay too. Great deals occasionally. Use the Stanley Double Hooks on toads in heaven cover. I use Power Pro braid on all of my setups. Either 50 or 65. Limp lines like Super 8 or 832 are not great for frogs or toads. Good Luck..
  3. I use Lews reels exclusively. Tourney pros to Mags. Never any problems. I won't buy any other reel brand.
  4. If you're using a heavy rod the tips flex back will snap 10 test very easily.
  5. If I was to buy Tatsu which online store would you recommend ? i want new/fresh line.
  6. You all look like Spider-Man fans!
  7. Buy the rod you want not the price or deal. I personally didn't like last years mojo. The new III is very nice.
  8. Done, all no answers.. I don't finesse fish.
  9. You're not going to catch anything until you learn to cast. Lots of advice has been offered to you. Try it...
  10. Times were different then, we fished differently and with fewer options, we adapted..
  11. Way back I used culprit and Mann worms, spinner baits and beetle spins most often. I caught my share, did very well in tournaments. Reel speed is not so important.
  12. I don't remember hearing or reading anything negative about McCoy line. If I was to try a new nylon it would be McCoy.
  13. Check out the IKE rods.. I have two of them and plan on buying another.
  14. I can't stand any of the FC lines. I prefer PLine CX.
  15. The Team Lite or a Magnesium are both "10" reels.

  20. I like New Balance sneakers... I'm not into wading.
  21. I use tubes often, especially for flipping as a jig trailer. I do well in rocky areas with them rigged alone on various hooks. Im a fan...
  22. Aside from a number dah sentences the letter it's to long. Put a resume together and send it, forget the letter. Also, check out BombBomb online. If you can communicate electronically do it. Good luck
