  1. All depends on the amount of line pickup for me. I use all Revo SX 30. That gives me 33" of line pickup compared to 27" for the SX 20. When they hit those baits on the drop it really helps to have that extra pickup so you're not setting the hook on slack for me.
  2. Berkley Big Game backing to about 90-100 yards of Power Pro 12# Yellow to 24-36" Seaguar Red Label 8# Flouro. I like a longer leader sometimes if I'm fishing lakes with a lot of Northern Pike. Just helps because they break off all day and then you don't always have to retie a leader.
  3. Did they do the matching with oz in the envelope again like last year or what?
  4. Awesome. You only won the 25k right? Or did you get the boat draw too?
  5. Still never received anything. Anyone else get their packets?
  6. I was praying for arbuckle. Well at least now I kind of know the lake so we'll have a little bit of an advantage. Might not be able to make it though. Wife is due November 2nd.
  7. What lake and what is the date?
  8. Nothing yet for me. Did you get the state winners info?
  9. I remember him saying that. Just the logistics of it don't seem possible to me until hopefully they build this tournament up
  10. I would highly doubt that it's going to be held outside of Oklahoma.
  11. Thanks. Like I said they all work very well for someone on a budget.
  12. My setups-all rods under $49.99 and reels under $99.99. Nothing fancy just stuff that is great quality for the price in my opinion. 13. Thanks guys. I'm from Midwest so I think I'm just gonna enjoy my vacation in NYC and then do all of the Great Lakes division. I appreciate the input though.
  14. May 5th. Thank you guys for the info.
  15. Just trying to clear up a few things. I'm traveling to NYC with my wife the same time as a BFL on Chesapeake Bay and would like to fish as co-angler. The questions I have are: 1. Should I try to link up with someone before the event or is it a random drawing for boaters? 2. What type of fishery is Chesapeake and is it zoned out for these tournaments or is the entire place open? Sorry if these are simple questions for some. I'm just trying to learn as much as possible to make this a hopefully positive experience. Thank you in advance for any comments.
