  1. Direct to the lure. Take off Split Ring.
  2. Anyone using this line. Sure is pricey. Read a few reviews (which I take with a grain of salt on TW) about breakage. If you used it what are your thoughts and any issues with breaking?
  3. What Blue said and they usually offer a 10% off gift card sale as well.
  4. Thanks @A-Jay I kind of figured as much, but know nothing about the presentation really other than a few videos.
  5. I this is more of a deeper water, suspending fish type of presentation. Anyone fishing it in sat 5' or less. Along grass lines or slow rolling it super slow over submerged grass? Thanks!
  6. Texas - right near Sam Rayburn & Toledo Bend. Fork would be a easy long weekend drive. Respectfully don't care about the other stuff.
  7. What colors do you like on the 3DB?
  8. Anyone use these before, they're pricey. Wonder how the action and durability is.
  9. Join a local fishing club as a co.
  10. Glad I bought some last month! I like the punch rig/slither rig idea alot, going to try that.
  11. It's the Potomac - I have to.
  12. Looking at 1/2 -1oz - what do you prefer.
  13. Might be some of my issue, I will be cognizant of that and try to rig with a more belly down head up approach.
  14. @Mike L and @tcbass are you still able to skin hook the points with the 2 hooks?
  15. So I've been throwing the Rage toad more and more. Many times it ends up on its back on not on its belly. I've been using a 5/0 and 6/0 Owner CPS hooks. I started using belly weights hooks (1/8oz) which helps a lot, but would prefer to not using the weighted hooks if possible. I don't think Owner makes a 6/0 1/8oz beast hook. Sometimes I feel I have to reel it to fast with the extra weight (although that could be my imagination). Thoughts? Any I not rigging it straight, etc? @Big-O
  16. I take my 5yr old son out all the time. 90% of the time I have a 1/16 or 1/8oz rooster tail or beetle spin on. My son doesn't care whats on the end of the line as long as there is something pulling. We have a great time together.
  17. Fish catching ability is my number 1 factor on which baits I use. While price is important I don't have as much time to fish as I would like with 2 young boys and when I go out want to make the most of it.
  18. Thanks all, as always much appreciated!
  19. I've been thinking and noticed that many rods that are for jigs and texas rigs are sometimes the same specs (MH/F - yes I know there are others but this is a staple) is also the same for a rod recommended for Spinnerbaits. What makes one better for spinnerbaits as apposed to say texas rid when both are in this example a MH/F. How soft the tip is? Or in most cases are they fairly interchangeable? I guess in this case I am looking at rods built and bought for specifically used as a pure spinnerbait rod or a true jig rod.
  20. Is that the 3" version? With only one set of the top appendages?
  21. Probably my favorite creature bait to be honest, but looking for something with a slightly smaller profile.
  22. After some recommendations last year I really love the 4" SK Rodent, never tried the 3" but I certainly will. The 4" is just a little bulky at time. This is one bait I have been meaning try forever and for whatever reason never have. Might have to change that. I was thinking about a baby brush hog, so this looks to be just as nice.
  23. I am looking for a finesse type creature bait to add to my arsenal. I am thinking of throwing it after a cold front or in particular at slack tide. Anything you like that fits the bill? I was thinking a twin tail grub at its simplest form.
  24. Technically it's a reservoir (Kerr). We shall see.
  25. My thoughts exactly.
