  1. Only only one way to find out!
  2. There's a reason why the Tatulas are sold out and the Lews is in stock..................
  3. Bantam mgl Tatula Elite Both ahead of the Morethan which i thought was going to be top dawg....
  4. Never could get it dialed in and ended up purchasing a tatula next- still love those reels even over those costing 4x, bantam mgl right there also.......
  5. Revo STX maybe 7 years ago- Never could cast it worth a d**n. It is long gone but have about a dozen quality casters now ......
  6. That is so hideous that I am going to dig out an old Eagle Claw that I have and take it for a test drive
  7. Sometimes you get what you pay for. Some folks have been lucky with cheap, low end reels. Life is short-buy higher end reels or take your chances.......
  8. I also have both and they are great reels although I do tend to favor the Stradic. The Tat just feels "plasticy" to me....
  9. Bantam- I use mine for salmon which like to run and have never been spooled- YET! I cannot imagine a bass taking much line after a rocket cast. I am only able to spool it with 80 yards of thick 30# fireline Ultra 8. Super smooth- Might even prefer it over the Daiwa Morethan.......
  10. Is the aunt single? (Asking for a friend)
  11. ? Just when I thought I would stick with daiwa from here on out first the bantam which I LOVE and now i suppose i had better try this................
  12. Check out their rating on the Better Business Bureau- A nice perfect grade of F.
  13. Went down that rabbit hole last summer and did a ton of investigating both reading and speaking with others- Ended up with an Echo Carbon xl 5 wt and Reddington Rise reel.
  14. This just started on my Zillion HD as well- Took reel apart for cleaning and lube. Still the same......
  15. I remember drinking a few Magnum 40's in high school.........
  16. shortest is 7'6" and just had an 11'6" custom made that I am dying to try out!
  17. I have the new elite and have had about all versions of the Tatula. I would say most certainly not much difference but im using them to throw 1/2 oz -1 oz salmon and steelhead gear. The CT works just as well for me.
  18. Give it to the girlfriend and have her use her card?
  19. $13-$30 from my experience depending on where in the country it is going.
  20. 2 different reels- The Chronarch just fits in my hand so well and is a dream to cast BUT you can feel the hollowness in your hand which you do not in the Bantam. Bantam just feels solid and takes more effort casting for me. Bantam has handled 18 # salmon no problem while the chronarch MGL went geary after 20+- steelhead and went in for new gears.
  21. Great stuff for the failing eyes! I cant see anything and previously used hi vis grren and yellow but the ghost really stands out and never fades.
  22. I have both and love them both although the Chronarch went back for new main and pinion after less than 2 years. Both are currently boxed up and going back to shimano for repairs- chronarch AR bearing works sporadically in cold temps and the bantam clutch does not depress easily. Was looking into the Scorpion MGL next but come to think of it I have never had to send in a Daiwa and may just stick with them from now on.............
