  1. Haven't been on here in weeks and weeks with no real desire to, but seeing you post made the trip back 100% worth it. Miss ya buddy.
  2. THEY HAVE TO FEED THEIR FAMILIES!!!!! #meatmaggots
  3. We don't speak her name yet.
  4. RangerDanger himself speaking on all things disrespectful..........
  5. Nah I think he nailed it.
  6. Its post spawn about everywhere and that has a lot to do with it.
  7. I think Clinton samples just as good as Perry for brown ones really. I have customers ask me all the time if Clinton has a Smallmouth population. It's much better than I think most people think it to be. I can guarantee Clinton would fish better than Melvern right now.
  8. I saw a few brown ones that were weighed in the pics.
  9. The Wipers and Whites were too. My other guides ran three trips on Saturday at Clinton and probably caught well over 200 between the trips. Even customers find it tough to want to do panfish things when those are on fire.
  10. Wolf wolf wolf. Thanks for keeping the whites and Wipers out of the way for my dad and I .
  11. I would recommend Eagle Trailer here in Lawrence. Good guys. Otherwise I know one or two guys have used Croft as well.
  12. Well, that would ruin all the fun and mystique of finding your own fish.
  13. It's entirely possible that it may have just dumped eggs too. Skinny or not I'm always 100% happy with brown ones over 18 so nice job.
  14. Sounds light? All the fish over 19" we've had in the boat this year so far have all been well over 3 lbs, but only one over 4# in March.
  15. 6.16 - Not a bad way to start our three day tournament weekend. Had around 17-18 lbs. today with @Thefrog22 at Lake XXX. Full report to come.
  16. The bite is always good.
  17. I'm sure that did not suck.
  18. And the weights were nothing like they were in recent years past. Didn't even break 7# this year and last year there were multiple.
  19. Just get the Shoreline brand always readily available at Walmart. Just had mine replaced when mine was in for maintenance a few weeks ago but I've replaced several with that one over the years on my old boats and it's just fine.
  20. Ran a Crappie trip on Clinton yesterday since the spawn is pretty much in full swing, and just like clockwork every year we always come upon some really studly Smallies. We caught probably 5-6 like this, and another 10 Largemouth. Always a nice surprise on these trips. Well, no real surprise me since it happens every spring. But for customers expecting a giant Crappie it's quite the surprise.
  21. You'll be a bigger fan when you can fish it under normal Melvern conditions, I promise you. Second year in a row we've gotten dealt a bad hand with lots of rain all at once and pretty much shuts everything down for the rest of the spring and summer.
  22. Glad everyone got scared of the rain that never came this morning and let us have the lake to ourselves until almost 10. Had several brown and green ones between 3.58-3.87 which were the biggest. My biggest brown one was 3.58 but was just touching 18". Lots of footballs today and a few that had to have still been on beds with beat tails from fanning or still dumping. Quality and quantity. Fun day.
