I had never heard of the senko until I joined this forum, its just not a very popular bait up here in northern MN, so when i hooked up with a wacky senko during pre fishing, my partner gave me a funny look, first cast i had about a 2.5lber, and about 15 minutes later a 3.5lber! im a senko freak now!
I have been using a 6 foot Shimano Stimula for a year or so now, and I love it! I have my first tournament coming up and I just ordered a second one so i don't screw around changing set-ups during tournament fishing! Does anyone else use these? I have a pfleuger president on the one i currently have, and am looking at purchasing another for the second!
I am wondering if X-Raps are all they're made out to be. I know that some fisherman in my local tournament have been talking them up the last few years, but at $8-$11 each, I'm not too sure about trying one! I'm mostly fishing 10-16 feet of somewhat stained water! Are X-Raps a yes or a no, and if yes, which siza and colors do you suggest?! Thanks!
I have my first ever tournament (besides small kiddie tourneys when i was young) coming up August 21-23! I am somewhat nervous, but I know that all I can do is go out and fish! My only concern is that the water is very high here in northern Minnesota, so that kills all the spots i know from fishing in previous year when the water was at a normal level. Any tips for finding new spots when spots that are usually dry land are 18 feet deep, and how to find new spots? Tried fishing some creeks during pre fishing but none yielded any fish other than northern! Any tips for a first timer? Thanks!
I am new to the forum, but not new to the sport! I got hooked on bass fishing at the young age of 8, and I am fishing a tournament in about a month! This will be my first tournament, and I am looking for any and all tips! Please help! Will be fishing the river one day, and the lake the other! Rainy Lake and Rainy River! All help is greatly appreciated!
