  1. Spinning Reels- Diawa, Pflueger. Baitcaster Reels- Shimano, Daiwa. Rods- St.Croix, Diawa.
  2. The right presentation and wrong color choice beats out right color but wrong presentation every time. Dont get fixated on color as much as the companies want you to. You dont need a crankbait in every color, u dont need realistic custom painted crankbaits. If the reaction bite is on then its on, pick the color best suited for water clarity and set the hook on em!
  3. I saw a video on YouTube awhile back and a fish biologist said largemouth have a 15 minute memory span.
  4. Bill Dance! Now a days I watch all bassresource videos on YouTube.
  5. Once I feel that first tap I apply slight pressure if I feel any resistance whatsoever im setting the hook on em! Don't wait long, you'll miss your chance or worse case, gut hooked bass.
  6. If you have muddy water you're gonna want to stick to black and blue, purple, black or chartreuse or any of those combinations. I always throw wide wobble loud rattle crankbaits or spinnerbaits with gold Colorado blades. If the bite is really slow and there's no reaction bite then you can still always finesse them out with plastics.
  7. I cranked a couple bass out last weekend on some normans. Goofy looking eyes on them but boy can they catch some fish haha
  8. Hey everyone, Im Shane, I currently reside in Idaho. I created an account a long time ago but never really signed on it after. I fish primarily for largemouth and smallmouth bass but occasionally will fish for trout, carp and catfish. I try to get out on the water as much as possible. I have a few favorite lakes around me but the best action is on the Snake river. My confidence bait is definitely crankbaits, second being wacky rig. Ok now Im off to take a look around on the forum!!
