    Welcome to another north Atlanta fisherman. I live pretty close the KSU and am also new to Bass fishing. I have scouted a few ponds but they all have been private. So far, I keep just keep fishing Allatoona. I'll let you know if I find any ponds.

    I might have missed it, but what is the technique when using a swim jig? Sorry for the new guy question? Just getting into jig fishing and would like to try swim jigs.     Thanks. Yea, I am a google map guy fur sure, was hoping for some insight about one lake or pond being better than another one. Doesn't matter though, gets me out of visiting with family... Haha

    Boat setup looks good. That's looks like the direction I am headed. Since I am new to boating and fishing, can you still get in the good fishing spots like you want to even using a ski type boat?

    I am going to visit in-laws down near Ocala, Florida. Specifically, I will be staying in Belleview, Florida. Are there any good ponds or lakes near there where I could get in some bank fishing for largemouth? Appreciate any help. Thanks.

    I have no idea what a float boat is? I am going to have to research that. I saw some guys fishing using a ski and fish type boat. Just wondering if anyone else is on here and how they like it.

    We rented a pontoon lat weekend and it worked pretty well. I think that would be a good option so far. Do you think I could get into good spots with a pontoon?

    I am new to the South and Bass fishing. Now that I am hooked, I want a small bass boat. Momma and my daughter want a ski type (runabout) boat. Question is... Can I still be successful bass fishing from this type of boat? What advice do you have? Remember, happy wife, happy life...
