  5. thanks, yeah I have been very eager to go back, just have to observe more and hopefully pull something hug out haha!
  6. I found this really nice looking pond a few days ago loooots of coverage from down trees almost all the way around, it's less then a mile from a river and that makes me think i could just be a pond formed from passed floods. I only tried fishing in it only once for a few minutes so far because i was with my friend who had to leave, I heard a couple splashes but that could have also been frogs, ducks, or something like that. It looks incredible, but is there an easy way to know if there are actually any fish in it or not?
  7. so just go with what I usually have luck with?
  8. I live in the northwest area of illinois and I'm trying out a new spot. There are a few trees and the river is pretty shaded. It's near a bridgle. weather today says high of 86 mostly sunny, 10% chance of rain. what color and/or type of lure would you reccomend? going later today so I would like some answers soon, thanks!
  9. I went trout fishing in montana this summer and thats when i cleaned my first fish. I was looking at a book and it said to hit it in the head with a blunt object
