  1. I might be one of the only ones who still isnt ashamed to break out the old Canoe. But I was wondering if anyone knows of any decent deals or has perhaps some old ones to part with. Will pay shipping plus cost blah blah. I got a 14 foot Radison flat back that I used to troll for trout during the spring stockings up here in Northen West Virginia. Helps get into the runs a little easier at the head of the lakes up here. I doubt any are available or if you know of any. Cabelas here locally has them but they are threw the roof. Any response on this would appreciated
  2. Great pics. As soon as I get my USB for my camera off my cousin. I will take a pic of of a couple I caught when I was 5 in Florida. Until then I will enjoy your guys!
  3. I just been catfishing at night.
  4. Good advice throw in here. I would personally use a dark lizard like a grn pumpkin seed color. That seems to be the best bet here in WV. Seems like once the moss starts here though they will be completely covered here in a few weeks. d**n warm weather. Gotta love it though!
  5. I didnt believe depth or structure was the case. Gotta be the Weed. Puff Puf pass bass
  6. Yeah dont let a chump like that ruin your day. It is attitudes like that, that send you to the daisy pushing races early. Dont sweat it. ;D
  7. I pretty much agree with George, I spend just enough to keep me in the water. If I need something I will grab it. Between line, gear, tackle we all know that can get steep. Depending on what I am grabbing is how much I spend. Once November hits though I am usually in the woods playing cowboys and indians with the animals till they start stocking trout in Jan. But needless to say it can range from 0-500 no problem.
  8. I have a problem with not giving certain lures a chance. When I fish the strip pits I find myself jumping between a huskey jerk to rubber worm over and over. But I usually due well on either depending on what kind of weather we have been having.
  9. I think we may be having this problem all over. I live in WV and fish strip pits in Ohio. I am not 100% sure but I believe they are just sitting on their nest. I would personally use a rubber lizard. That is what I have been using to bag the stubborn ones. I have tried the new Mann hard nose, and they rock! Good luck with the bass try to use something that may threaten them into hitting. Just my .02
