I fish a couple retention ponds one of them has under water weeds that are dying out and the other has no cover. Both have pretty clear water and I can see the bass swimming around the pond about 3-4 foot out from the bank and maybe 2/3 foot of water the max death of the ponds is maybe 8 to10 foot. Some time they are in groups of 4 to 15 fish but I can not get them to bite on anything. This just started getting this way as far as not biting in the last 2 weeks or so. DO you think it could be do to the cooler weather that we are having. I have tried plastics , spinners, jigs, cranks, rattle traps, frogs, top water baits, just can't get them to hit. There is tons of small fry's swimming all around the bank and it looks like they are guarding them.
