So I was wondering if it was possible to upgrade the Curado 301 6.2.1 speed to the 6.9.1 of the right hand models. Has anyone tried this? Is it possible?

I walked over to help a fellow fisherman who was visibly just starting to learn how to fly fish. I walked over and set my setup on the chain link fence and gave him 5 minutes of tips and techniques. I then walked back to my other rods where I was fishing, never grabbing the one I walked over with.

Kills me to do this but I am going to throw this out there. The evening of May 11th I left my swimbait setup of a Shimano Calcutta 401D and a Okuma Guide Select Swimbait Rod Heavy, on the town beach of Cobbetts Pond in Windham NH. If any of you guys have any information about it, I'd really appreciate it if you would let me know. I am offering a reward for its safe return.

What was the members name that headed that up? He was from NYC Vincent or Vinnie maybe? I can barely remember he posted a lot of blues music videos. He helped people in need with donated fishing gear. Anyone remember him? I wonder how he is doing.

I miss Russ such a good guy and all he did for charity. I remember getting him Charlie Moore's number to get him on Beat Charlie Moore had to have been 10 yrs ago. Glad to hear he is doing well, brings back memories of members or terms you don't hear anymore. "Mooks!!!"

It was a 4 day weekend in Maine but all of the fish came on back to back nights right before we left.

I didnt get a lot of numbers but the quality was sure there. The wife and I went out quite a bit and our top 5 fish went 29lbs 4oz.

Wanted to let you guys see the slobs I caught while I was up in Maine on vacation. 1st was 5lbs 4oz on Wooden Swimbaits Rat. Next went 5lbs 9oz on the CL8 Baby Possum. This giant came on a modified black hula popper.

I was on vacation in Maine. I went out on the water the last night I was away. I managed to get this slob.

Spreading the word out about a great event going on in Southeastern Massachusetts. Friend of mine has collected donated fishing gear new and old and is selling it to raise money for a cure for cancer . The event is this Sunday June 7th. He will have everything there and even a serious Swimbait selection. If you want something to do that is kid friendly bring them down to help support a good cause.

I had a few follows on the Derps 250, I wish I had hooked up with one of those fish was a little bigger.

Well I got up to Lake Champlain on the long weekend. I managed to up my pb Northern Pike by 2lbs with this guy he went 10lbs 2oz. My Swaver 200 perch swimbait has seen better days.

We had some tough days memorial day weekend. We were targeting Pike and the weather wasn't really helping us out. We got fish big fish at that but man they were few and far between. I got my new Personal best Northern Pike 10lbs 2ounces.

They have treated my home waters many times for Milfoil. I can always say that the fish don't die however fishing takes a dramatic hit. I have found they are harder to catch when the lake has been treated.

Hopefully next week, but there is a 4-5ft snow bank in front of the launch, entire lake is still iced up this might be the 3rd week in April that is the latest I have ever seen by far.

I heard that places down the Cape were still primarily iced over around 6" or so.

Friend was ice fishing on my home lake in Windham, he said there was still a solid 15" of ice on Friday the 20th. I think it wont be until April 12th until I get out.

Hey last day out fishing for me was Dec 27th, I know all about loving to be on the water. Just being in a Kayak when the river is pulling lots of frigid water seems an unnecessary risk.

Nice Fish! Stick a Slob! I am dying to get out. I personally think you guys would be crazy to go in the river with a Kayak this time of year, but that's me. I can't even see tires on my boat trailer yet, let alone get over the snowbank to do anything. People were ice fishing the pond last weekend, and with this colder weather, I fear they will be doing the same this weekend. I would be surprised getting out before April 11th, not unless we have a really long warm spell with wind and rain.
