Nice fish. Its always fun when you are catching fish no matter what you throw. Its funny that we try so hard to catch fish, but (atleast in my case) when I start catching loads of fish Ill switch to a different technique just for some good practice with a new bait
Does a heavier(greater diameter) mono line have less stretch compared to a lighter line? When I pull on my 8lb mono vs. my 14lb mono, the 14lb seems to have a lot less stretch.
I tried fluoro and had the same troubles. When i tried to flip it, it didn't come off the spool nearly as smooth as mono. When making long casts, I couldnt thumb the spool because the lines would just back up on the spool. Although I liked the thoughness of the line, I think Ill just stick with the mono.
I heard once that the darkness/brightness of the color of a bass can tell you whether they have been holding deep or shallow. Is this true? Or is this just a genetic triat within the population?
Picked up a pack of Kinami worms today. Couldn't tell any difference between the Kinami worms and senkos. They are both made by Gary Yamamoto........anybody know the difference besides a different colored package?
Bass n Bows, You can usually email yourself pictures off of a phone. You send it just like sending a picture to another phone, but you put the email address in. I have an old phone and can do this, so yours probably does this as well.
Lefty here. Tried my buddy's right hander for a day and hated it! It's going to be hard to find a cheap left hander though. Most cheap reels dont come in lefty
I've found that their is a time and place for rattles. I cant say Im a jig expert, but I usually use rattles when fishing for less aggresive bass, or in muddy water. I've actually had more success without rattles, but again....I just started using jigs about a year ago
What is the best technique to use immeditaley, and a couple weeks, after the spawn? I know.....a very broad question. Just looking for all different views
