  1. It looks even better in person in natural lighting. The red is a deep, rich red. And then the accent colors are a glossy, dark titanium color with small red metal flakes in it. There's also a little scorpion etched in to the tension control knob.
  2. Freshly in from Japan. The new Scorpion MGL 151HG.
  3. From the recommendation of this thread, I've now ordered twice from KTP. Both orders shipped quickly and arrived to me in perfect packaging. I'll be shopping with KTP more in the future.
  4. There have been numerous threads asking this question before. If you search the website, you'll probably find a few of those threads. As stated before in those threads, I will never give up my treble hooks.
  5. I'm using a #1 and 1/0 myself. The VMC weedless Neko hooks literally do nothing over the regular one's.
  6. It's tournament week boys! Get your picks in soon.
  7. I can't comment for the Kistler, but I own a 7'2" H Expride and I absolutely love that rod. I highly recommend them.
  8. I've got some old Wiggle Warts that fetch $50-80 each. I've never paid that much for an individual Wart, but they easily bring that much. I've got a few Gan Craft Jointed Claw 178's that go for around $70-80 each.
  9. Never? Grab a squarebill or lipless crank and chuck it around. It won't take long to catch one.
  10. I've got the latest and greatest goodies coming from Japan. Stay tuned everyone
  11. These are all $400+ reels. What exactly do you want to know about them? What are you looking for in a reel?
  12. I use one on all of my flipping rods. I even add quarters inside of them to help change the balance point more to make it more comfortable to flip and pitch all day long. They also help prevent me bruising my ribs from multiple hard hooksets throughout the day.
  13. Friendly reminder - 7 days to get your picks in for the Lake Fork event.
  14. Is there truly a way to prove otherwise? No. Fish whatever gives you confidence. There are days where a $4 bait will outfish a $20 bait, and vice versa. Fish what what you can afford and what gives you confidence.
  15. In your price range, I'd be looking at one of the following: Megabass Orochi XX Dobyns Champion Shimano Expride GLoomis IMX Pro St Croix Avid or LTB
  16. I also forgot to add my favorite part. The trigger on the PPS is nearly as good as the PPQ, which is highly touted as the best trigger on the market.
  17. Steady retrieve. Every so often, I'll give the rod tip a twitch or I'll stop reeling for just a split second. This will make the bait act like it's fleeing, causing fish that are following it to react and bite.
  18. Yes, it's probably my best producing skirt color. A bluegill flash or Tennessee Shad Keitech on it. It can mimic really any type of forage fish (bluegill, crappie, shad, etc).
  19. Chartruese shiner and chrome/blue.
  20. I've owned a LE edition since back around the time they were released. I like it WAY better than my Shield. My Shield used to have issues going into battery, so that was one issue, but I like the PPS M2 much better in many aspects. It eats anything I put through it and it's a very smooth shooter for its size. The quality is top notch. The grip is phenomenal. I also like that I can choose between a 6/7/8 round magazine. I can carry it with the small little 6 rounder in it for easier concealment, and then I can keep a spare 8 rounder on me in the event it's needed.
  21. For the time and effort compared to the cost of new lead, why not just buy new?
  22. So... Which Extreme are you buying next?! -Bait Monkey
  23. Baitcasting only for jigs.
  24. 5/16th is my go to size, but the bait monkey requires me to own multiples of every size. The 3/16th is good for beating the bank when I'm only fishing 2-4FOW.
  25. From my understanding, the CR80 is outsourced (IE. not designed by Diawa). Correct?
