I wondered about this as well. At the Classic this year, those final guys to weigh in had their boats out of the water about 4 hours until they actually weighed in. Obviously they have aerated tanks behind the stage for the guys, but this is not good for the fish.

Really depends on who your sponsor is. A lot of the BPS guys are using the cheaper BPS rods and reels (Evers, Defoe, etc). Brent Chapman is using Kastking.

I wouldn't be surprised. Seth Feider finally had his best day on the final day and surged up to 4th. That helped save my bracket.

I'm running 4 Chronarch MGL's. 2 I pre-ordered, and the other 2 I bought a month or two after I received the first two. Outside of having DVT service them for me periodically, they have 0 issues. With that being said, I'll definitely be snagging a 20 Met or two. Might even have to sell a Chronarch to afford one.

I think you are confused and/or misinformed. The Chronarch MGL uses brass gears. Only the 13 and 16 Metanium's use aluminum gears.

I was going to recommend this, or to get some colored permanent markers, and then take some clear nail polish over it to keep it from rubbing off. Either way, all this is probably overkill, and using just a plain GP or Orange jighead is probably going to get you the same results. But I understand, cabin fever is real up north right now.

From my recent trip to Florida.

If I got mine, my wife already threw it away. She hates me having catalogs and magazines laying around. Doesn't bother me. The internet has so much more information these days. But the nostalgia of getting one and flipping through it for the first time still gets me.

I've seen (literally) dozens of people complaining on Facebook that they never got their Abu reels from that "flash sale". Good luck and I hope you get yours.

Mike, a few things I noticed. Is the unpainted no longer an option? The 5 pack discount doesn't seem to be working either. The white/silver crackle looking paint pattern doesn't seem to be an option any more either. Let me know on these. I'd like to order some more dredge jigs soon and some swim jigs. Thanks!

I've had quite a few days where I can't buy a bite and I'll tie on a 1/8oz white rooster tail and I'll start catching all kinds of stuff.

Matt Allen also doesn't fish waters infested with pike, musky, and walleye. So for that, if I have a bait that I know works well and I use it a lot, I might carry 4 or so with me of it.
