  1. I wish we had an Academy around here.
  2. I could easily only throw Rapala cranks, but what's the fun in that?
  3. That's about the most versatile rod there is. Worms and lipless cranks come to my mind.
  4. Senko Wordens Rooster Tail
  5. Picked up one of the 51E Chronarch's from Cabelas earlier today. Can't wait to get it in and look at it for the next 3 months!
  6. I've tried calling TW 5 times today and I keep getting an error. I'd like to add some Jackall baits to my order from this weekend, that I placed before they announced the Jackall lures on sale.
  7. Shimano Chronarch ci4 6:1 St. Croix Avid 7' MH/F
  8. Glad to see it's doing so well!
  9. Here in PA, they're mandatory from November through March (I believe) if you're on the water.
  10. That's because you've never hit them whenever they're hot on them. Wait til spring time whenever the water is in the 50-60 degree range.
  11. I've been trying to get my hands on one of those 3.8 Curado's. They're perfect for slow working spinners for walleye.
  12. If you're using a line with a 12 lb diameter on a spinning reel, then you should be using a baitcaster.
  13. Which kind of Seaguar FC? They make a few different one's.
  14. With the right rod and line, it's easy to detect a bite, especially after some experience. What is your setup that you're throwing on?
  15. I use them both ways. I don't think it really matters to the fish.
  16. You may start a war over the red hook debate... I use 2 and 4. Obviously the 2.5 gets the larger hooks. If you have some 3's, you can try those out too.
  17. Sounds like you're going to beat up anything you buy. In that case, I wouldn't be too concerned about keeping anything looking nice.
  18. I'm currently out of town for the holiday. I'll try to remember to do this once I get back Sunday. Happy holidays everyone!
  19. Slack line getting caught the trolling motor huh??? Been there, done that....
  20. Most of my favorites have already been listed. I also like some of the Zman stuff as well. Very durable stuff.
  21. Decent start already. I'd add: DT4 and DT6 Arashi Aska Biggie Poppa
  22. I use the Frabill F3 outfit. Which is one step down from the F4. I can't recommend that suit enough. I've fished numerous days in the pouring rain and I've never gotten a drop of rain on me. I even worse it in the rain during deer season two weeks ago. If you're looking for something that is insulated and will keep you warm in the really cold weather, I wouldn't suggest the Frabill suits. But they are good for those brisk spring and fall days where you might be in the 50's and 60's.
  23. Got this in today. It's much smaller and lighter than I anticipated. I'll likely be throwing this on spinning gear. For $10, I was expecting a much better set of hooks. I'll be swapping those out. Overall though, it's a pretty cool little bait.
  24. The name brands alone should be the dead give away... Shimano.
  25. Mine are all organized in different boxes like this: Shap raps (I know these just from looking at them) Squarebills Shallow (1-6 feet) Mid (7-12 feet) Deep (13+ feet) Walleye/Trolling Some of my deep divers may run 14 feet, some of them may run 22 feet. Most of them I know what they run, but if I don't, I can usually figure it out just by the bill and weight of the lure. If if that doesn't work, it doesn't take long to throw something and see if its hitting the bottom or not in whatever depth I'm in.
