  1. I'm pretty sure they were up in the Kissimmee River at the dam/lock.
  2. When they're biting, they're biting.
  3. And just like that, the Florida stint of the season is over. Kudos to Brandon Palaniuk for putting on a cranking clinic on Okeechobee. I never would have imagined a derby on that lake could be won with deep diving crankbaits. Anfrobodine has jumped into the lead for our group after two events. We have 18 days before the Classic kicks off. Time to start doing research.
  4. Love to see that everyone figured out what the baits were he was throwing. I was extremely happy to see baits with a treble hook were the ones winning a tournament for once. I had heard the crankbait was a prototype that he was helping develop. From what I saw of the bait during the live coverage, it looked like Megabass was creating their version of a Rapala DT for Brandon. Either way, looks like they've got a winner in their hands.
  5. 19 pound lead on day 2. Unreal.
  6. 6 guys all sitting in the same hole casting over each other. Majority of them all top 10 guys. This is wild.
  7. Fog delay this morning.
  8. None of them have a marshal with them. Looks like they only had enough marshals for about half the field today.
  9. 1:45 on day one and the cut line is 4-15. This is unreal!
  10. The manufacturers are the ones funding the the entire operation. You can't bite the hand that feeds you.
  11. So much grey area in this rule. Scott literally lives on the water at Okeechobee. He can literally walk out his front door and see things like "water clarity" or "fish activity". Not defending Scott here. There are numerous elite anglers who also live on lakes they compete on.
  12. It truly is... Scott was my only chance of catching @lmoore
  13. Martin had over 60% ownership in his bucket for Fantasy Fishing. Unreal.
  14. Matt posted a video on his Facebook page. Didn't go into really any details at all and mentioned that the rest of the story will come out eventually to the public. The primary topic of the whole video was him saying he talked to all his sponsors and they all supported him to move over to NFPL going forward.
  15. Matt Herren has been disqualified for his performance at the first event of the 2025 season at St. Johns River. Herren failed his polygraph even following the event. He has decided to retire all together from the BASS Elites and will be fishing the NPFL going forward. https://www.bassmaster.com/elite/news/elite-herren-disqualified-at-st-johns-river/ https://www.si.com/onsi/fishing/bass-fishing/matt-herren-announces-exit-from-bassmaster-elite-series-after-disqualification
