I'm in the Back Mountain. I go down to frances Flocum mostly, I'm looking for other spots to go bass fishing from shore. I've been to lake jean once, once or twice to moon lake. Want to get to Harris Pond, harvey's Creek, but I have no experience fishing creeks. I see alot of places to fish on Fish Brain, but I dont know how many are private or public. I use spinning gear, looking to move up to baitcasting gear this year. Im looking at throwing crankbaits, frogs, some jigs, soft plastics, lots to learn this year!

And when I say newbie, I just caught my first fish today! A tiny sunfish. But hey, its a fish! I'm a dad of four who never had anyone to take me fishing as a kid, so I'm on a mission to learn everything I can and pass it on to my kids. I fish lakes from shore, i have a pretty large creek nearby, but I havent gone down there yet. Looking forward to checking out the forum, thanks for stopping by!
