  1. 3/8 oz football jig in green pumpkin with rage craw
  2. Brett, another thing to think about with jigs is experimenting with your retrieve and let the fish tell you want they want.....slow/fast cadence hopping on bottom, slow drag, swimming the jig etc....
  3. My wife did real well with a drop shot...nose hook a worm and the reel set was easy for her
  4. I have shimano Sahara spinning reel, i have the drag tightened all the way but can still pull line out to easy and it's inconsistent/slipping ...drag washers need to be replaced? Or could it just be greese on drag washers, which I can clean?
  5. Run straight flourocarbon on my jig and crank bait rigs...only issue I ever had was with a my palomar knot. Watched YouTube video by Shaw Grigsby on the knot he uses for flourocarbon and I haven't had any problems since. Love the sensitivity. Don't like messing with a leader
  6. 3/8 oz brown/black football jig with rage craw in bama craw color....17inch largemouth
  7. Just got my TP, took it out yesterday and made some casts with a jig..smooth as butter love it! I'm new to the dual brakes how much do guys play with the 4 centrifugal brakes or do you primarily adjust the magnetic?? Thanks!
  8. I use pit boses as trailers a lot, especially when the jig bite is good, they are much more durable than the craws I use and cheaper too. I use the 4inch ones, if I'm throwing a smaller 1/4oz jig I'll tear a little off the top
  9. I'm a big fan of seaguar invizx...in comparison to a few others I've tried, I think it's managibilty is outstanding, good abrasion resistance and I've had zero problems with knots
  10. Interesting...when my local BPS was out of 12lb invizx the salesman told me that XPS KVD fluorocarbon was identical to seaguar invizx...i was still skeptical and picked up some Abrazx but maybe I should of went with the XPS???
  11. Following recommendations from the forum my new tournament pro paired with a fenwick elite tech bass...I think it looks sweet, just waiting for ice out!
  12. X2 "Mean Green" Hot Tip with chartreuse tail
  13. I've tried a number of lines and lines/leaders for jigs...I fish a shallow clear lake and now use 12lb Abrazx
  14. I use straight 8lb invizx flourocarbon to drop shot/shaky head.......PP braid with flourocarbon leader for senkos
  15. Love me some roboworms and zoom trick worms on a drop shot!
  16. 10 4...so the idea is maybe a little more action than my football jig when dragging bottom
  17. Correct me if I'm wrong but this rig presents a bait the same way a football jig would right? So what's the advantage? I drag alot of football jigs, Just trying to decide if I should give it a try. Thanks guys!
  18. 22in largemouth on 3/8 football jig green pumpkin from bass pro with green pumpkin chigger craw...jig didn't look good by end of day....only buying Siebert from now on
  19. David, I have the REVO SX 6:4:1 Gen 3 and absolutely love it. Used it for everything, no problems dialing it in. I really like it with 12lb flourocarbon tossing square bills. Good choice, you'll like it! I'm actually torn right now between a a Revo SX 7:1:1 or a Lews TP for throwing jigs?!! And I can't get both because I need a new goose gun!!!!
  20. Same as jderry, I'm looking at both the Tournament Pro and BB 1 pro at the same price but I'm looking to bounce football jigs off the bottom, mainly 3/8 maybe 1/4. What do you guys think? Thanks!
  21. Bass wouldn't take my swim jig on retrieve yesterday...had 2 big bites shallow as soon as it hit the water so I switched to a football jig hopped on bottom and killed em
  22. Been the year of the jig for me, 3/8 football jig with chigger craw hopping off bottom, green pumpkin...when weeds got up I started using a swim jig, siebert tournament in bluegill with green pumpkin chigger craw been slaying em
  23. Tournament Swim jig in bluegill with a green pumpkin chigger craw...caught its fair share of bass today!
  24. If you like senkos, try a swim senko with a 1/8 oz bullet weight on a steady retrieve. As long as I could work it threw relitively clean I'd use a swim jig with a craw trailor through and over the hydrilla, natural colors green green pumpkin, brown, bluegill...
  25. Same here, Mike called me back as well, great guy. Got my first 3 Seibert jigs in mail yesterday, they make all my other jigs look like garbage...fishing them in morning, will start out with swim jig in bluegill with a green pumpkin chigger craw...going to really take my time tying it on, will cry if I lose one...then place another order!
