I agree with you sirsnook. I am looking for a new saltwater reel to compete with my dad and his penn conquer . I just heard good things about the Penns so I wanted to get a different option on them or someone who has used them maybe.i want a spinning reel I have a few conventals but those reels are much more special perpose I want a nicer spinning reel just something nicer then my older saltwater reels

Yea I will research the ugly stick tiger rods I was looking at the st. Croix inshore mojo rod are any good

hello i am looking for any advice for saltwater reels i have been looking at the penn battle and the penn fierce . i have no idea about those reels but i have read good reviews on those two reels . i intend of using the reel fishing on the rocks,pier and off the boat . my price range is from 30 - 150 $.
