I’m looking to buy either a GLX or NRX+ 894c or NRX+ 873. Would also be interested in either model of green NRX. Payment will be made via PayPal G&S. Looking to spend $400 or less. Thanks for looking!
I have cleaned and re-lubed the reel and still does it. I’ve got a met dc that needs to be deep cleaned so Ill just send this one along with it so they can look at it. Not good for a $400 reel to have this kind of problem
Last summer I got my metanium MGL hg and I love it. But this year when I got it out after winter and was messing about in the yard casting it, I noticed that is what noisy on the cast. Almost sounds like the spool is grinding on something. But it doesn’t seem to affect casting performance. I’ve looked at the spool as well as where it sits and I see nothing wrong. What would this be?
I know that the nrx is a better rod and can be found at a similar price, but I like the looks of the glx more. This guy that has the glx said he'll hold it for me, he a good friend. I won't be able to get whichever one until August just trying to figure out what would be the best value.
Ok so I have come across a brand new 804 GLX (green) for $300. Just curious if that's a good price or if I could get a new GLX or even a used NRX for that. I haven't seen any for that price but people on here have talked about getting those rods for that?
I realize that the stuff I mentioned is not the best bang for your buck. But that's not what I'm after, I'm after a top notch setup. I did get my first core 100mg in today and my goodness is is amazing.
Hello, I'm graduating this year and with the money I'll be looking to get a really nice Texas rig combo. My current plan is to get a core 50mg7 (if I can find one) and a GLX 803 JWR. Thoughts and or suggestions? My current t-rig combo is a 843 MBR E6X with a scorpion xt 1000 and I love it just want a rod a bit lighter and more sensitive. Thanks
I've bought multiple reels on eBay with absolutely no issues. Just make sure as the others have said that the seller has at least 95% positive feedback and you should be fine.
