So i have a dual purpose power series 120 from bass pro. Over night It tipped over and leaked out what I'm guessing is acid. I hosed it down and hosed down the plastic container. Will it still hold a charge? Do I need to add water to it? If so is there a safe way to do so?
Does anyone know the name of this canal or where you would be able to launch a boat from. As far as I know c14 ends there and there is no way to get through.
Well my battery fell out of my van. It was in its plastic cover. It hit the ground and it looks okay. It's a BPS dual purpose 120. I use it for my trolling motor on my bass raider type boat. It's supposed to be a maitenance free battery. On the top by the terminals it looks like it has a small drop or 2 of water. Could that be acid that leaked when it fell? Is it safe to wash it off with a water hose?
Wish these idiots who full throttle their jet skis on the no wake zones did stupid stuff like these. I'm just waiting for one of these fools to smash into a bridge here.
Fished the C-14 canal at Rock Island and Southgate. Really tough, couldn't buy a bite. Caught a snakehead that fought like a 15 pound bass in the first 15 minutes. After that I ended up catching one tiny bass the size of a Vizio remote.
I've tripped on pvc pipes and holes close to the bank. It's kinda hard to pay attention where you step when you're trying to keep an eye out for gators and snakes.
I'm sure this has been posted before, but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for via the search option. What do you guys do when you catch one of these things? Are we supposed to kill them? According to this article http://articles.sun-sentinel.com/2012-05-01/news/fl-frankenfish-broward-canals-20120427_1_snakeheads-frankenfish-fish-lab you get a $500 fine just for possessing them. I caught my first one today directly behind my apartment. I did however kill him. For some reason I feel bad about it.
my post was meant as a joke. The biggest I've caught this year was just shy of 4 pounds I believe. Me being from south florida, seeing and hearing about these 8+ lb bass, I'd categorize that as a lunker.
