  2. She's a beauty. Nice catch. Great report. I was out on the banks at lox Sunday morning with my girlfriend and some shiners trying to put her on some fish. She ended up getting blanked but I caught two small bass, a sunfish which I didn't know eat shiner, a cichlid, an oscar and a needle nose fish which I thought was saltwater. I'm definitely going to head out there in the upcoming weeks with my little pond boat.
  3. Yes pages loading slow here too
  4. 30+ gators? Your two sinkers must be huge. Ive gone out occasionally with my little pond boat and get spooked when I see them. Although they haven't been aggressive or swam close to me at all. But if a man will go out with a kayak I sure as heck can go out in my little pond prowler.
  5. Thanks for the reply, yeah I understand for large purchases but this is $200. They did send an email saying someone from customer service staff will review the order after I made this post.
  6. So a little while ago, I placed an order on tackle warehouse. I've ordered from them before but don't recall the orders never going straight through. Anyone else have this issue? Order is over $200. Could that be an issue?
  7. That's awesome. Which location did you fish out of? Parkland or north?
  8. Mods, if this is the wrong place, or prohibited, I do apologize This is very saddening, and I hope all of our south florida family is safe and sound. http://www.sun-sentinel.com/local/palm-beach/fl-reg-holey-land-shooting-folo-20170706-story.html?jhjhayaaaa
  9. Thanks for the reply grumpy, my main concern would be the sensitivity of the rod. Would that affect it at all?
  10. Hey y'all, I was interested in BPS tourney special 7'6 heavy. It has a retractable butt. Is this common in a 7'6 rod? And would that butt be bothersome? Rod would more then likely be used for pitching and flipping. And the occasional frog.
  11. Here in Florida, any vessel being powered by motor, even just a trolling motor needs to be registered and you must have a title to do so.
  12. Ahh man that's rough, Just sneak out! Glad your finger is fine.
  13. I've been seeing this thrown around social media but I've yet to find out what a Dr Pepper horny toad is. I'm assuming these people are soaking the bait in soda? Anyone else ever hear of this?
  14. Really? They killed the gator?
  15. Id like to think I get 60 - 75 feet on average with any weight I cast. The heavier weights, less effort. I could be wrong be wrong though.
  16. Thanks for all the replies, I do wet the knot and pull the tag end. I will try the trile and the double palomar. Thanks again.
  17. I'm using 6lb test for light finesse applications. Lost 1 fish on hook set, another while reeling him in and lost the hook/bait on a cast. Im pretty sure it's my knot.. I'm using the palomar. Knot looks super clean when i tie it. Anyone else have an issue regarding this knot with 6lb test red label? Is there a knot you can suggest that might make a difference?
  18. Welcome to the site
  19. You might have better luck in the southeast region of the site
  20. Didn't notice much of a current. Just a little wind pushing before the rain rushed in, im not sure if the water was normal but it looked like it might have dropped a foot or two as you could see a color difference on the cat tails and trees.
  21. Fished 830-1130 on the north canal.. Called it an early day, got soaked but we did boat 11. Best went a good 2.5/3 lbs. all came way of the gambler ez swimmer. Not too bad of a morning in my opinion.
  22. I'm renting a Jon, and I prefer sawgrass over Holliday because the boats are in better shape. I do appreciate the suggestions guys.
  23. Those are not the things i wanted to hear haha. I do appreciate the replies fellas. Looks like it's going to be a grind.
