    you could start by going with a little bit longer rod like a 7'3 MH F and use a sweeping or 3/4 hook set over the shoulder, or you could try fishing just a little closer to the bank if you can seem to keep a fish on at that distance. It is generally a little harder to set the hook on a jig rather than a texas rig or something of that sort

    I caught my 10lb 4oz pb in about 19 feet of water on a 1/2oz strike king football head jig. She didn't put up that much of a fight cause it was right after the spawn. Still really exciting seeing a fish that big come lurking from the depths

    The past few days I've been wearing bass out on a t rigged worm. But every time i haul one in, its been hooked in the back of the throat 8 out of 10 times. How can I help this because its a pain to dig the hook out without hurting the fish

    Of course you don't want any with salt.. Salt= sinkage. Best thing to do is throw it in ur mouth and see if u taste any salt. Some brands say no salt but still have a little bit in there bait

    i would say a wacky rig during the day and a black spinner bait with a big blade at night so the fish can feed off of vibration

    Best choice would have to be about any type of creature bait or worm. Such as a baby brush hog by zoom. Also a top water pop-r will work wonders

    Just wanting to know what y'all say about what your favorite post spawn lure is in this time of year when bass are hard to read?
