  1. An easy way to discourage tailgaters, weather you trailering your boat or not, is to gently ease on to the shoulder of the road just enough to let the tires start to throw up some stones, this usually gets peoples attention real quick. I know that you guys with the expensive fiberglass rigs are all about not marring the finish, but with my old aluminum boat that I take into any kind of jungle on the water, I dont to much mind an extra nick or two. What I actually hate worse than tailgaiters is the dad gum idiots that pull right out in front of you when no one else is behind you and then take their sweet time to get up to speed limit or even worse drive below the limit.
  2. Does anyone have any tips or areas on or near to lake Wisconsin. Was there last week and the water was high and dirty from all the rain. found a couple in some sloughs on topwater frogs but am looking for any advice for this Saturday.
  3. Have you checked the liquid level in the batteries?
  4. I live about 20 miles west of Ohare and am looking for any one willing to get together and split expenses for some fishing. I fish NE Il. and SE Wi. mostly.
  5. Have been doing good in NE Il. and SE Wi. jig and pig at the docks, frogs & buzzbaits over the weeds and slop, footballhead jig and hula grub in about 10' of water on flats near to deep water when boat traffic is heavy.
  6. I fish with an IBFN sanctioned club out of Palatine, most of the tourneys are in Wi.,if your looking to step it up a notch check out the Big Bucks series.
  7. Don't forget the Florocarbon line, or at least a leader.
  8. Hit any docs with crankbaits
  9. where are you fishing?
  10. P.M. sent.
  11. It's mid March, has anything been put together yet for this excursion?
  12. If you are up to traveling a bit north, Lilly lake in Lakemore is a great for bank fishing, but it is catch n'release only for bass. Have gotten lots of 4 & 5lbers there. 8-)
  13. I am going to be fishing there the weekend of April 17-18. Is anyone familiar with this lake at that time of year?I have never been there before so I will be picking up a lake map, but any help would be greatly appreciated.
  14. Lilly Lake In Lakemoor Il., on Rte 120 a couple miles west of Rte 12. When the Lilly Pads come up, throw senko's into the pads. Use a stout rod and braided line as they really like to dig into the weeds.
  15. let me know when & where, if not involved in a tourney at the time I'd be in!
