  1. Quantum Accurist. Cheap, reliable, many gear ratios, DBS, and they have aluminum frames which is a plus in my book.
  2. I believe it only comes in one color. I got mine in a three pack from Rebel I believe. It had a popper, grasshopper crankbait, and crawdad crankbait. I have it on my dad's ultralight and they tear it up.
  3. You have no comeback to that besides talking about a weak statement which tells me that you know I have more valid points than you.
  4. There's where you basically put all of the blame on the competitor. Yes, he should be charged for manslaughter. He should've known how the car would react. It may have been unintentional, but he intentionally hit the throttle.
  5. There's a little grasshopper crankshaft that you can get from Wal-Mart and it never fails to catch bluegill for me.
  6. The fact that he does it constantly and you're trying to defend him by saying the other guy was purely the one to blame is what I'm getting at. Obviously you have forgotten that Tony Stewart hit the throttle. He admitted to it. He could've went around, but instead he hit the throttle and the rear end got the guy. It's both of their faults. If you don't believe so then you don't even need to be in this topic.
  7. Then explain why you aren't saying anything about when Tony walks out on the track, which is very often. This guy walks out on the track and gets hit and you're trying to lay all the blame on him when it was partly Tony's fault too. Tony walks out on the track constantly yet you're trying to defend him when he hits someone else who walked out on the track. Oh, and by the way, I do like Tony Stewart, I just don't like people defending someone who was in the wrong. That's like if someone stabs a girl in an alley and the girl gets blamed for walking into the alley. Get where I'm coming from now?
  8. I'd rather break a $900 rod and reel setup instead of letting it sit around.
  9. You're so quick to defend Tony. Yes, the guy got out of his car when he shouldn't have, but at the same time you are trying to defend a driver that gets out of his car to yell at people and throw his helmet at them more than any other driver in the sport. It seems to me if it would've been Tony that got killed you would be saying it was the competitors fault for hitting the throttle. Don't make up excuses for someone when you know they shouldn't have done what they done.
  10. The article said that Stewart seen the driver and hit the throttle to show his displeasure as he went around the competitor and the rear end snapped around and caught the competitor. Sure, the other driver was ignorant for walking out in front of vehicles, but Stewart also shouldn't have hit the throttle like he did. If I recall, it said it was a dirt track also. That means Stewart should've known that the rear end would break loose if he hit the throttle. It was both of their faults.
  11. I can't find one in any of the stores around here and I have no way to order off the internet.
  12. I'm not an Abu fan anymore. They seem to have gone cheap with parts or something and everyone is saying their newer reels aren't very good. I think of those two, the Penn is your best bet. If you want to look into another reel, check out the Pflueger President. I've never used one, but it gets nothing but great reviews.
  13. Buzzbait and frogs at the pond I go to.
  14. I've only caught three bass on the Clack'n Buzz this summer and heard good reviews about the War Eagle. The spinner I knew I needed because I've been out of spinnerbaits for a month. I wish I had the money to stock up on everything and get a couple more nice rod and reels.
  15. I just bought a black War Eagle today. I'm hopefully going to try it out at the pond tomorrow.
  16. It's all I use too. I've tried braid and fluoro, I didn't like either one. Everyone nowadays swears by braid and I just don't like it
  17. I fish them just like my T-rigged worms. Then again I've only used them twice and don't believe I caught anything.
  18. I went to Acadamey Sports and decided to pick up a black/black 3/8 War Eagle buzzbait and a white 1/4 H2O willow leaf/Colorado blade spinnerbait. I'm going to head to the pond to test them out tomorrow. It's only two baits but I haven't bought new baits in so long I'm excited to try them out.
  19. A jig and T-rigged trick worm.
  20. It doesn't get tiring, just gets annoying because I can't cast it as accurately as a lighter weight lure. Weight doesn't tire me out in fishing. I throw around a 200lb bike all day. Lol
  21. It gets annoying trying to launch a 1/2 after a while. I feel like I have more control with lighter lures.
  22. I keep it simple, I grab a buzzbait and go. I think I'm probably gonna start buying 3/8 though.
  23. I would just throw in the extra $10 for a Berkley Lightning Shock.
  24. For a top water braid would help, but I fish different lures on the same rod so it would just be a waste of money for me.
  25. I fish boulders, once the lure gets in a crevice, ite gone. I've used braid where I fish and it doesn't work out any better than mono.
