  1. From what I've read I think I'll be okay. I hope
  2. So I recently lost my job due to layoffs. I have a hair test for a potential new job on monday. I don't smoke weed. However, around a month ago I had a couple small hits, and maybe 2 or 3 hits 2 months before that. Should I panic? Those are the only times I've smoked ever. And I didn't even really inhale fully
  3. I went fishing on the CT river in mass yesterday. On the way back to the ramp, cruising along at near wide open thottle, I smoked a rock or hit bottom somehow. The outboard kicked up, and shut off. She wouldn't fire after that. Made some weird noises inside the motor. it sounds normal when I turn it over but she won't fire. The prop is banged up, no chunks out, just knicked up good..bottom part of skeg is gone. Dropping it off at the merc dealer Tuesday. Wish me.luck guys
  4. All That Remains Killswitch Engage Five Finger Death Punch Volbeat Mudvayne Too name a few. Seen those bands live atleast 3 times each. My hearing isn't the best Haha
  5. Last time I went out to Ticonderoga, we were fishing the underwater docks, nailing bass after bass. Burning and bumping square billed cranks into the structure
  6. I'd be down to meet up you guys. We could probly get a lot of guys from on here
  7. My girlfriend caught that smallie on the right last year
  8. Do you launch out of mallets bay and head north or do you launch further up?
  9. Shelburne bay is really good, you can launch right from downtown burlington by the ferry. My girlfriend and I caught a bunch there last year..she caught a 6 pound monster there too. Be careful. .I almost sunk my boat there two weekends before that one due to an idiotic decision I made to stay out in a storm
  10. For my frogging setup. ..I have a skeet Reese heavy cover baitcasting rod and a Shimano Cardiff with 80lb hi vis yellow power pro braid. Thing rips and casts frogs out a country mile. Is it worth upgrading to the calcutta? Only difference I see.is a few more bearings and a steeper price tag . Any real advantages with the calcutta over the cardiff?
  11. It was the live pointers and the lip less cranks. Not sure about online. The east Hartford CT Store
  12. Stocked up on a bunch of live pointers earlier tonight . What a deal!!
  13. So many great posts, I've read them all thanks everyone. I'll be home later to reply to everyone. At work right now
  14. I thought every light was a drag race when I was 16, needless to say i got many tickets from age 16 to 19 before i wised up. In mass insurance points don't fall off til 6 years after the fact. Its also high because i financed a car. My 2000 chevy silverado 4x4 v8 is a pig so I picked up a commuter ,and somethin to build my credit score with. I am debating bumping to 3rd and going to class during the day. Me and my gf have a joint bank account. She drives my truck to class and work ( <5 miles a day) while i take my pontiac G6. She makes about 700 a month so after gas and bills and food we have about 5-600 left over every month if i just do 40 hours a week
  15. Heres my situation in a nutshell. I'm 22, almost 23 years old. I've lived in an aparment with my girlfriend for the past two years. I work full time as a cnc operator making $17 an hour w/union.And $1 annual raises until $20, Its about 40 minutes too and from work, its a commute. My girlfriend works part time at CVS as a cashier and goes to school fulltime and has already completed 2 years and always on the deans list. I am thinking about transfering shifts, say to 2nd or night shift, and going to school full time during the day. I have a lot of bills..i have $750 rent , $150 car payment , $515 a month car insurance( i was an idiot behind the wheel when i was in high school, still paying) $225 phone bill, which my brother splits with me . I don't know ..if i should pull the trigger on college or not. I already made $50,000 this year, at 17/hr. but i worked a ton of OT, i need advice
  16. Hopefully lol this would be the easiest fix
  17. I will have to check this out tomorrow after work, thanks for all your help man
  18. It was never torn apart. It was used alot though
  19. Okay guys, so this is the first bass boat ive ever owned. Ive used the trolling motor many times with no problems. I don't know how, or when this happened, but somehow the arrow faces the opposite way the boat is actually going. It will point forward, yet the boat will go backwards. Not sure if i put it away wrong, maybe something got twisted up. I tried messing with it and spinnning it around but it will not cooperate. any suggestions? Thank alot guys
  20. You can't go wrong with a Shimano Citica or Curado
  21. No insurance, but hey, least i didnt loose the boat. I have to think positive and learn from that
  22. Now i know, next time i see dark clouds, i wont be playing games. Lesson learned, feelin it in the wallet haha
  23. My buddy and I were fishing on the NY side of Lake Champlain, right near Port Kent, NY, Beautiful sunny day ,slight breeze. You get the idea. Well anyways, all of sudden it got really choppy, winds really picked up, 4' tall+ waves , one big ass wave smashed over the back of my 17' triton bass boat( its a center consolde boston whaler style), water mustve somehow gotten into the gas tank. Waves started pounded one after another. We went to shore, on a random beach. We had no choice. Water filled my hull ,, we ran to put everything on land. What a disaster trip. We waited it out for 4 hours, freezing. Some nice people helped us shovel out gallons of water with milk jugs. we got it floating off the beach again. Well, the motor got water in it. Its a 06' mercury 60hp efi 4 stroke, Its getting a new vapor cannister, fuel lines, had an injector sent out to get serviced...$800-1000 i was told. Its at a mercury dealer. WIsh me luck, glad im safe
  24. The heat still can't win even with the ac on. As a Celtics fan, I hope the heat get stomped
  25. I use the power pro hi vis yellow for my frogging setup, the line literally floats ontop of the pads and dense weeds, so one it doesn't get caught as easy and two easy to watch
