  1. Whew! Wish I could afford all that! Probably a couple more dobyns champions here. Maybe an Orochi x4. We'll see...
  2. Read the *** review of the LTB swimbait. They mention using it for jigs and flipping. Should work for the techniques you listed.
  3. Ya, I don't consider them a tube. Great alternative to a jig or tube though. Like mentioned casts a mile weightless...
  4. Maybe 30 days last year. Not enough. Hopefully more in 2015
  5. Depends on the rod. If you're talking about, say, a Dobyns 795SBMT it's a a little too heavy for most frogs and jigs. It can load a 3/4-1 ounce jig w/ trailer and effectively fish it but it's not ideal. What rod will you be using?
  6. Interesting. I thought it could be one of those two. At first I assumed Shimano/Jackal but it's not exactly a "fledgling" company.
  7. Owner. Their trebles are the best. I like all their hooks, the twistlocks with CPS work great for rigging. Love the bulk pack Mosquito hooks as well... Great deal on DS hooks.
  8. Good advice. It seems like a lot of the same questions are asked over and over on this forum..
  9. It's very hard to find reports on this Northern ca lake. Anybody on this forum know anything about it? Thanks.
  10. X3. You can use just about any line with spinnerbaits, it doesn't really matter. I use 10 lb big game, works fine, haven't had any problems. Can't beat it for 1500 yds of 10 lb for $9!
  11. X2 on the kistler. Get on their mailing list and they'll alert you of any good deals. They got some great sales and coupons sometimes.
  12. I haven't tried the maxim series, or heard any reviews yet. Looks kinda ugly IMHO. I like my M1 spinning though..
  13. Speaking of members, what happened to WRB?
  14. Got really busy with school and work this year. Ill try to post more often.
  15. You guys are both wrong. Everyone knows the best color is black blue flake.
  16. I know. That's why I wish they would make at least 28 or 30 lb for big swimbaits. Like tackletour said in their review, that diameter seems a little small to hold up to big swimbait fishing in the long run.
  17. Flukes and senkos skip the best IMO. I've never tried to skip a hardbait.
  18. I would throw 10 or 12 lb fluoro.
  19. For 25 lb cxx or hybrid, definitely a 300 or 400.
  20. I like the palomar. It's much faster to tie.
  21. Shimano bantam b-mag 1000.
  22. X2. I read it about 10 times, still can't make anything of it!
  23. Reels? Bins? I can't seem to put it together.
  24. Sounds wonderful. If there was such a thing, I wouldn't be needing 30 lb defier!
