  1. And I bet his isn't the Mary Kay edition Ferrari lol
  2. Methusalah lived to be 1000 and he didn't get vaccinated.
  3. High quality, great colors, and they catch fish. I don't own any but I know they work!
  4. Spro little john, cell mate.
  5. I paired mine with a revo s20 and use it for tubes, 4" senkos, and 1/8-3/8 ounce dropshot rigs. Should be fine for walleye jigs up to 1/2 ounce. I use it with 6 lb mono. It's rated to 3/4 ounce but seems to max out with a 1/2 ounce dropshot rig or shakeyhead. Seems fine on the lower end of the rating (1/8 oz). It's a little tip heavy, but is lightweight, looks great and I like the reel seat and handle, locking nut is behind the reel where it should be. Sensitivity is on par for the price. Should be a sweet combo paired with a ci4. Not exactly sure what kind of feedback you're looking for, but these are some of my thoughts on this rod. Good luck.
  6. Owner. Only hooks I use.
  7. Abu Garcia vengeance. I have a 6'6" mod-fast and it's a good crankbait and topwater rod.
  8. I like the reel seat better too. Don't like the acs seat on the imx and gl2.
  9. From what I've read it's going to be a nice rod for the money. Should compete with the st croix avid, duckett micro magic pro, kistler klx, etc. I'm gonna pick one up if TW has a Shimano sale this month..
  10. They say the e6x is more crisp and refined than the gl2, also lighter and better balanced.
  11. Tackletour has an introduction for these rods up on their website... It's a good read check it out. (Don't know how to post a link on this site!)
  12. In your opinion what is the perfect dobyns for 3/8-1/2 ounce spinnerbaits? Do you prefer the champion, cranking, glass, or extreme? Which model?
  13. I'd like to buy a nice reel this month for use with a dx744 for 3/8-3/4 ounce jigs. Would the core 50mg be a good choice? I know some will recommend a Metanium, but if really like to try a 50 size shimano, especially one with such great reviews plus a high gear ratio for jigs and worms. I'm really only concerned about line capacity. How many yards of 12-14 lb sunline sniper will it hold?
  14. I agree. I never owned one but handled multiple models in the store with reels and they felt like decent quality rods. Think the price should've been around $140-150.
  15. I think the problem most people had was that they looked and felt like a caenan painted green. Not bad reels, just didn't meet the standards of the curado guys.
  16. I don't really pay much attention to it, some rods more expensive, some reels more expensive.
  17. Exactly. Hopefully.
  18. Wow that's a great deal! Personally I think the e is better than the g..
  19. That's what I'm hoping. There's nothing stopping them from making a good rod for a good price, they've probably gotten a lot of bad feedback from the gl2's. Specs and pics are up on G Loomis' website.
  20. Looks pretty cool. 4010 jpy is around $30. Expensive, but cheaper than most hard bluegill swimbaits.
  21. Or just two tatulas.
