  1. I guess that's part of what bugs me. All the reels I deep crank with have 84 mm or smaller handles...
  2. I'm getting tired of 80 and 84 mm handles on reels. I think 90 should be the new standard. I know there's a lot of other guys that feel the same way. When are manufactures going to catch on?
  3. Any dubstep fans on here? Or am I totally alone
  4. Car Monkey: I have a Suburban that needs work
  5. Ouch. That hurt to read.
  6. X2. Plus soccer. And relaxing. That's basically all I do all summer.
  7. X2: stick it out for the levante. Like others said, the e6x is nice but I'm underwhelmed by the sensitivity and balance. You can do better at $200. I'm sure te levante will be better.
  8. Dude: this Shane guy is out to get you. Lol
  9. I'd like to open hand slap whoever designed those new tatula xt rods. And quantum's lineup never ceases to amaze me A lot of gimmicky looking products there. That megabass levante has my attention though...
  10. X2. I use it in 6 and 8 lb as well. Great line.
  11. Lol http://www.banned site/living/entertainment/the-cruelty-of-catch-and-release-fishing/
  12. I'd love to hear a comparison from someone about this vs the new twin power.
  13. I too would rather support Norman, and I like their paint jobs, but there's no denying the effectiveness of the 5 and 6 XD. I've had much better luck on the strike king.
  14. Nice collection. Love that Metanium/Nrx combo.
  15. I'm also interested in hearing about the twin power. Looking at both the 2500s and 3000xg models.
  16. With the hg you're getting a faster gear ratio, just like in baitcasters. For example, a Metanium 100 (6.3:1) vs 100hg (7.4:1) vs 100xG (8.5:1). This has advantages for different situations, personally I would prefer the hg for anything I do with a spinning combo, dropshots, shakeyheads, tubes, etc. Basically the benefits of the c are a 2500 size reel with a 3000 size spool, which does nothing for me. I'd rather have it the other way around.
  17. And that's in only 4 hours of fishing: 2 evenings, 2 hours each. Not including all the fish under 4 lbs!
