1. Free and you can get some free stuff 2. You get to go to the weigh in witch is awesome and exciting. Their is stuff offered all day i know the forrest wood cup had a lot of seminars from pros. I don't know about the classic though. 3. I took my girlfriend to the forrest wood cup witch probably wont be as exciting as the classic will be (she didn't wanna go see grown men catch fish). She was on the edge of her the whole time and screeming. So maybe that will help ya out.

lucky. I went to the forrest wood cup to but i had to leave early cause i was sick. I wish i could have gotten to meet him. He is defiantly someone to look up to. Awesome!! He will most likely have a louder crowd cheering at the classic than he did at the cup and he defiantly had the crowd cheering for him at the cup. I think it would be cool to meet any of the pros. I love the sport because most fisherman are down to earth and happy to be were they are, unlike all the other sports. I even got my fiance (who knows nothing about pro fishing) watching it every time it comes on.

I'm really hoping Casey Ashley will get in it. I know he can pull it off at Hartwell. It would be nice to have the Classic trophy in South Carolina.

I live 4 hours from the lake in Hampton sc but im defiantly not going to miss out on that.

How is the handling in wind and waters with current? I like to salt water fish to will it hold up to the harsh water?

I have a phone charger on my boat permanently installed its a great thing to have cause were I fish there is no service and it kills my battery fast. But luckily navionics works without service it just does not have updates. Do any of you know were I can find a unit that only has gps on it?

I downloaded the navionics app to my phone and I was curious if anyone out their uses their phone as their main map system. Its a lot cheaper that putting 100s of dollars into a mapping system.

I'm having a problem understanding were a spawning flat is. What is it that makes an area a spawning flat? In my mind there are lots of places that look like a spawning flat but how do I know if that's what that area is used for?

Well I don't exactly know much about a nitro but I can give you something to go on. I have a 17'6" pro craft bass boat with a 135. I had 6 people in my boat 5 witch weighed around 200. One weighed around 100. It struggled getting up because it was so far down in the water but once it got going it wasn't to bad but the gas mileage killed me. lol Probably wasn't to safe to be taking that many people in my boat in the first place but you live and ya learn

45 pound flathead catfish on lake marion in south Carolina. That was real fun. When I was nine I caught a 26 pounder with my dad dipping him up for me as far as I can remember it took me 30 min to get that one it but I will definatly never forget that one.

I grew up catfishing cause that's all my dad liked doing because of the pull from those things and the great meals they make. He would wake me up at 12 midnight and we would drive 2 hours to lake marion and fish until 12 mid day. I still love doing it, we would catch about 6 brim little smaller than hand size cut them in three sections and use that for bait but it had to be fresh. We would get along I-95 going across the lake and drift those rocks all day until we got tired of pulling fish in. 20 to 30 pounders all day drifting the banks is the way to go. Get a big cork and set it to hold the bait 2 or 3 foot off the bottom and just wait for the rod to double over.

Anyone fish this tournament? If so give me your input the ups and downs of it, how well you did, and how it worked out for you. I wanna fish this tournament when it comes to clarks hill GA but I don't have very much money and I don't want to waist my time if its not going to be a good time and worth the gas money. Thanks
