It is because people are willing to spend that much money. Just in my opinion its kind of like cigarettes no matter how much they cost people are still going to find a way to buy it.

I do all of my spot tail fishing in beafourt, SC. Great fishing but I don't think there are any snook around these part and I can't wait until June for my honeymoon we will be heading to key west and renting some kayaks. Any advice there would be great. I'm far from an expert spot tail fisherman but I can catch them very consistently only one time a year and that's when it starts getting cold. When the shrimp are getting ready to leave the creeks we find a bluff wall with plenty of lay downs near a main creek and fish a Carolina rig. We get live shrimp and throw them on the bottom and can't keep the line in the water. The bluff walls are also great places to catch trout that same time for some reason. I really don't understand it but I do know it works. Just sucks not having a boat that I can take in saltwater that is mine.

I can guarantee you I suck at walking top waters that's why I like to stick with buzz baits, Simple to use. lol

Supposedly they are suppose to be the number one easiest top water bait to walk and are discontinued from what I have read witch is why the price is so freakin high. If your going to use it ask yourself first how many topwater baits have you lost in the past 3 years. Me I don't even like spending $5 on a lure that I could lose at any moment. I could take that 100 bucks and buy a bunch of other baits that could catch just as many fish. But if your a collector might be a good one to have. Crazy how things are priced these days

I have many zebco 33 rod and reels all over my little local lake. Now I fish with bait casters they actually last longer. Went fishing some time last summer and my fiancé decided she wanted to try bass fishing so I had all my bait casters sitting out on the deck. So when it got dark we took out the catfish reels and were going to try our luck with the cats. Casting the second line out, when I rear back the hook grabs my newest abu Garcia rod and reel (not the most expensive) and slung it as hard as I could; not yet realizing I had a rod and reel as bait now, then WAMMMMM right in the back of my fiancé's head the reel hits her, she starts screaming at me and I'm screaming at my reel COME BACK!!! I'm going to see if I can catch that thing one day.

I actually have a lowrance that I think has that, its a small unit. But what I am wanting is a contour map of my lakes on my unit. Auto chart I know does that by you driving around and it scans the bottom then you take the chip out and download onto your computer and it creates a detailed topo map of were you drove around at. Is that what you mean?

Well this small lake I fish does not have a map one does not exist, most of the waters I fish do not have a topo map so basically im wanting a system that will scan the lake and make a topo map.

Ok I have a lake a want to make a map of. What is my best and cheapest option. I have purchased the humminbird helix 5 and it will run either. Im knew to these map chip things and have never used one. Would the navionics chip record the contours of the lake bottom for me?

George jones is my idol. I saw him maybe 4 years ago and he was great even though he was old and out of breath half the time. Hey I use my baitcasters all the time in salt water. Had 2 of them for 6 years now. The key is clean them very well. Live shrimp is your best bet and get some strong line because you will run into sharks. Were will you be going?

She is very talented but I can't stand her because she started of as a country singer. I get upset when I see these, so called "country music awards" and see what they call country. That's not country and never will be country. My grandfather was a country singer and i am also a country artist and it ticks me off that these people are in the same category as Johnny, George, Merle, and Waylon. Most of the so called country songs now a days are about sitting on a tailgate drinking beer and looking at women. Country music is about the feeling the song puts in you. Sorry I get carried away. Pretty decent song though

Does it have ways to mount onto my boat?

Im going to be fishing a tournament in the next month and I want to record every minute I can. I want to start making my own fishing videos not for youtube this is for my own entertainment unless I get really good at it. I don't really know were to start, go pros cost so much!! Are there other cameras out there that are just as good? I have been on amazon looked at different ones and it scares me the price difference. How do you guys go out and record your fishing? Thanks

Awesome guys. I went on Sunday and I missed so much it sounds like. There was just way to much fishing stuff to look at for my little heart to take. lol Next time I hope to get to meet more of the bass resource family.
