  1. +1 RM's the real deal! Thanks for all of your help! Ronnie
  2. Top 5 4 Shimano 50 Mgs 1-Calcutta TE200DC I love them Mgs, I'm never afraid to cast to the smallest hole in the thickest cover. They are so smooth & reliable, they instill a lot of confidence. The Calcutta DC will cast a feather into a stiff wind. LOL Ronnie
  3. Thanks for the post.....also... The Word (Jesus) became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. MERRY CHRISTMAS FISHER..... from a fellow fisher of men. Ronnie
  4. Savor the time they only want a Barbie car my friend. My youngest daughter was campaining today for a Honda CRV (a real one). They grow up fast and they get more expensive if you can believe that! LOL God Bless, Ronnie
  5. Not sure yet what my daughters have gotten for me, but I already know what I got for me. LOL My youngest just laughs out loud when I ask her to wrap a present I bought for myself and put it under the tree. When she asks what it is i say " I can't tell you, I want it to be a surprise" LOL It's a Chronarch 100BSV, like I need another reel. LOL MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ronnie
  6. You can believe anything you like, but this is cut and pasted from Shimano's website.... "VBS weights need to be adjusted to the bait you are using. Turn all weights on and start casting while turning one off at a time until casting distance is good and backlashes stop." One at a time suggests to me that it is OK to use just one and not pairs to correct the braking. JMHO Ronnie
  7. OK Wayne, The counter is up and running. Now you can count right along. Ronnie
  8. I agree and have kind of been operating that way recently. As a full blown deputy in the Shimano Posse, I will henceforth try to give only requested feedback and opinions concerning the equipment I use. Ronnie

    What is RSS

Dom, It stands for Rich Site Summary RSS. If you keep track of a lot of weblogs or news sites and message boards like this. The RSS service will constantly keep track of the areas, boards and sites you frequent and display new content for you on your homepage. You usually have to subscribe to a Global RSS provider like Google, Yahoo, MSN to provide the service. Bass Resource now supports this feature. COOOOOL! I hope that helps. Ronnie

  12. For those not old enough to recognize 'flippin4it's' dream ride, it's a Dodge Dart 340 - six pack. It was the quickest stock production 1/4 mile car for many years. My dream ride is also a Chrysler product......... 71' HEMI CUDA' Yea baby!!!!!!!!!!!!! And my other dream ride, which I actually own...2003 Honda GL1800cc Goldwing

  18. Shimano Posse, yep, but it's still not fair to compare a Revo ($100 to 200) to a Core ($350-400) they are not in the same class. JMHO Ronnie
  19. Excellent! MERRY CHRISTMAS! Ronnie
  20. With no other information about what size, how you plan to use it, etc. The Core is worth more money than a plain Chronarch. I am tempted to buy a Core. Ronnie

  24. I have caught a few 3+ lb bass on the fly. There is no reason you couldn't catch a big bass with fly tackle. There's a guy on VS TV that catches 500lb billfish on a flyrod. Ronnie
