  2. My niece was married back in June. It was the first time in 32 years that all of my brothers and sisters were all in the same place. I had seen them each during that time, but it was an amazing reality when we thought about it. Ronnie
  3. Get an 844 IMX and pitch with it. You won't regret it. Use the Falcon for spinnerbaits and the 7' BPS for crankin. Just ny $.02. Ronnie

  12. NJ basic fishing = 22.50 add 10.50 for a trout stamp. Although someone introduces legislation every year to start salt water licensing, so far, it's been shot down every time. I have to wait until next week to get a new one, if I bought it today it would expire tomorrow 12/31/2006. LOL Ronnie

  18. I am on the road visiting family and checking in on my sister's dial up. Man this takes forever. After showing up late at Ron's yesterday, he and muddy man put on quite a breakfast spread for me and my girls. How many of you guys got homemade venison sasuage with your western omelets this week. It was great to finally meet the two mooks, and their hospitality is over the top. We got to tell a few fish stories too. I'll trade an old computer keyboard for a breakfast like that one anytime. Looking forward more than ever to the Fork trip. I appreciate all the kind words. I hope all of you are having as fine a Christmas as I am. MERRY CHRISTMAS! Ronnie

    Hand guns

Did I miss something? I thought they switched to the Beretta 9mm about 10 years years ago and it is still standard Nato issue (including US) You are right the standard Army pistol is a Beretta 92 9mm which the Army cals the M9. Now SOCOM has SIG 228's and HK .45 that they use but the regular Army has Berettas. Allen Been a loong time since I had noticed, (10 years is not that long, is it?) thanks for straightening that out. Ronnie
  23. What Daniel said.... I'm sorry I misunderdstood as well. Ronnie

    Hand guns

Aaron, Fishbear & flechero have got the right ideas. I will only add that if you want protection from bad guys you must go with .45 ACP or 44 mag. Anything less is subject to making the bad guy mad enough to kill you. The military uses the Colt .45 Govt. model (semi-automatic) sidearm because it is a man stopper and is very reliable. However if you want to enjoy handgun shooting sports, i.e. metalic silloette shooting, PPC, or just plain target shooting and murdering beer cans, I would suggest a Ruger Redhawk 44 Mag. or a Smith & Wesson model 29 44 Mag. These are big heavy guns, but they are a ton of fun to shoot. The .44 mag has the some of the best balistics of any hand gun, they are easy to hand load and they will stop a bad guy. I love a fine handgun. Ronnie
