  1. I'm 55, 6'5" and 420 lbs, so I didn't have a lot of choices when I was looking for a boat. I bought the Big Game Prowler II about 2 weeks ago and just got it in the water this past Saturday for the first time. It had been about 25 years since I was last in a canoe, and I took couple of tip overs while regaining my sea butt, but once I got used to it, the thing is pretty stable. The web seat does have two positions - high and low, and low was definitely more stable for me. I was out for about 3 hours with my kids. We paddled upriver (not fast flowing) and upwind almost a mile, did some exploring, then leisurely floated back to the ramp. The seat is very comfortable. Once I got the back set correctly, I never experienced any discomfort. This thing is not a speed demon, but it was not difficult to paddle upstream and against the wind, and it's very comfortable. It is pretty heavy. It's too heavy for me to carry any distance by myself, and even one end is a bit heavy over distance for my 13 yr old son. My next purchase will be some kind of dolly, probably the TrailTrekker once I figure out what size I need (which is how I found this forum). Any advice on the dolly would be greatly appreciated.
