  1. Front for sure. You don't fish from the back of a boat when you can be in front with a clear view of approaching structure that holds fish and or obstacles. That makes as much sense as putting a tm on the back of a bass boat and fishing out of the back seat with nobody fishing in the front. Zero sense!
  2. I think two tms at once may pull too much current on one battery, not sure though. Maybe somebody else knows.
  3. I have the telescopic paddle from wal mart and it paddles fine. You should have one for emergencies. Roll tide lilsweepr!!!
  4. I kayak fish also. I like the raider better, much more room, better view since you're above the water. I can go 95% anywhere in the raider as the kayak
  5. It's an on off switch. You set the handle on the speed you want and put your foot on it when you want to go. It also has a flip thing that locks it on if you want. Wal mart and academy also has them
  6. Also a digital trolling motor uses a good bit less battery. Minn kota enduramaxx 45 is what I have and I love it!!!
  7. They will fit in a 97 z71 step side bed, so easily in a fleet side.
  8. Mine gets dragged over all kinds of stuff. It's scratched up but no problems. It's PVC so easily fixed by melting pvc pipe and welding it if you get a hole. So no worries.
  9. I have a 2.5 HP Yamaha 4 stroke that's about 37 lbs and much faster than my 45 endura max and has a 1 liter tank on top. I use it on a river I fish, because I want distance there for some of my fishing holes. Everywhere else I canfish all day with my group 29 ever start maxx and only use 1/4 to 1/2 charge.
  10. Yep, the riser makes all the difference in the world for us tall people. Glad you like it. Now you can easily spin around when you need to.
  11. The riser is a must unless you're short. I'm 6'2" and have no problem standing unless it's very wavy. Depends on your balance I guess. I've lost a couple of the rubber end caps, no big deal. Wal mart sells an attwood battery box similar to the Minn kota but it doesn't have an internal breaker or battery meter but it's cheaper for those who are stingy or can't afford the Mk one.
  12. Chicken, yes it was the factory inline fuse holder that melted. I highly recommend the power center. It has a built in resettable breaker, two 12v cigarette lighter style plugs for phone charging, black light, spotlight, etc. Also has a built in battery gauge for people whose tm doesn't have a built in gauge.
  13. Oh and that clamp already has the holes in it so I just had to drill through the pipe.
  14. Thanks chicken, it's 1/2" cpvc so very flexible. I was going to rig a spring loaded hinge in the pipe but have used it this way most of last summer and all of this summer. I've scraped it on bottom so many times and no problems. It flexes plenty. I drew a line with a sharpie on the pipe and carefully cut the slot with a circular saw for the plexiglass, which I bought at Lowes, it's precut. 8x12" I think.
  15. I have a Minn kota power center battery box with the built in breaker, one day my fuse holder melted, I think it got bent and lost connection and arced. Luckily my sister was with me and was able to hold it just right till we got to the ramp. If you have a separate breaker I'd recommend cutting the factory inline fuse out to avoid this risk. And always have an emergency paddle. I have the little telescopic one from wal mart.
