when you have that kind of money and love to bass fish dont short change your self and go for some thing cheaper than you would be proud of. dont make the mistake of going less that what you would be happy with so you can keep the boat you decied on . thanks guys for the info. i had a chance to buy 500 triple grip #6 hooks and i did when i do make lures i know want a red hook. i will try what you guys suggest thanks again

I think you guys are correct about paint . I just thought there would be a dye, that could do this job i guess not. Wonder what they do from factory ?

Any body beside me haveing trouble with there flurocarbon line ? Put it on a spinning reel and open the bail and it comes off like a spring or a slinkey. Tryed one way on spool and then turned spool over same thing., it was 15 lb

Is there a dye that you can use on regular hooks, that you want to make red . Also on split rings . I have a lot of #6 triple grip that i would like to change to red color . thanks

I have just seen a advertisement for prescription sun glasses that had the reading part on the top of lens rather than the bottom. That would be nice when you are looking down its not in your way and then when you have to tie a knot just look at the top of the lens great idea

big m kbhere : your saying to let the mixed epoxy set for 10 min before applying . If i wait that long it seems to start to set up. Do you thin e-tex, if so with what. thanks kb if you apply a second coat how much time in between coats.

the book by kirkmans is a good book also on mud hole they have a artical i think the call 101 building it give you some good advice. for me just start with a cheap rod blank and buy the other parts as guides and handle type you like

Peg it, and i use a spinning outfit . Why, i can get more power behind a spinning outfit when skipping. the farther you can get back under a pier or boat lift the better your odds. If you have a small opening between the water and pier if you miss and hit pier you don get a backlash on spinning on baitcast you might as well cut and start over, i use # 30 power pro braid

I have fished them for years. Cant think of a time when not to fish one. One is tied on a rod at all times i like the 1/4 oz the best. If there hitting short of course use a trailor hook. I use power pro #30 on all my spinners, top water ,buzzbaits

i bought a couple old type crankbait top water baits man did i do good with it. when and ordered a couple more in case i lose one. The old lure called the devil horse 4 1/2 " long i put some size 3 treble hooks on. it is in the color they call frog. i think the hooks on it must be size 2 or bigger. size 3 hooks worked great had all 3 trebles in fish most of the time.

The gold one is the lure kvd won with. Bought one but have not used yet.

Is there any co. making a 3.5 or 4" tube in sexy shad color? I cant seem to find any.

Being that you are at a young age. This comes to mind #1 Do you have a good job, if so do you make enough money to make a payment, Are you going to fish t"s, I would start with a good used boat ,that is a top brand Not so much the year but the condition , as was it taken care of? That kind of boat should have all the things on it that you would need. (No this is just my opinion) I do not like bass tracker i have owned two different bass tracker boats. I then bought a hyda-sport---stratos and know a ranger and have liked all three boat manf.
